Adhesive Patches for G6 – 25 Pack Premium Waterproof Adhesive Patches – Pre-Cut Back Paper – Adhesive Patch for G6 – Long Fixation! (Tan)

We ordered this product in hopes that it would perform as well as the product we had purchased at a diabetic conference. We tried a different brand in September, as the manufacturer of the original was backordered and we needed adhesive patches for the Dexcom 6. Unfortunately, the product we tried in September from a different manufacturer did not perform well at all. The edges rolled on day 2. I am delighted to report that the product from Fixic is as good as the ones from diabetic conference we attended. The product from Fixic is very easy to apply as the backing peels easily from 1/2 the patch, and then can apply that half and then remove the backing from the other side. Very easy application. There is very little rolling of the edges, however like all of the ones we have used, there is some minor fraying of the fabric on the edges of the patch. Additionally, the adhesive does not irritate my daughter's skin, so this is a great product for us. My daughter's only request would be to have a different size available for application to her legs and arms. Because of the increased movement in these areas, a larger patch would be preferred. The product from the diabetic conference is larger and rectangular in shape, which she prefers for her arms and legs.

I was continually frustrated with the thin overlays I was using for my Dexcom. They did not hold to the skin and the adhesive caused itching and rashes. I routinely had to cut away part of the patch by day 4 and use medical tape to make it through the 10-day period. I tried these and am extremely pleased. Now on the 3rd use and the patch does not pull away from the skin until day 9 if at all. The adhesive does not irritate my skin unless it is exposed to air if patch pulls away. Considering how much I enjoy the benefit of the Dexcom to monitor my glucose, these are a welcome solution. I will buy more and recommend that people try them out.

This product is terrific -- it didn't irritate my skin and it kept my Dexcom G6 in place while we snorkeled virtually every day during our vacation. The adhesive mostly stayed on for a full 10 days, despite the salt water, sweat and showers. It also dried relatively quickly. After a few days of being in water constantly, some of the edges started to come off a bit, but no problem -- you just cut that part off. Didn't affect the rest of the patch at all, and it made removal later pretty easy when it was time for me to change my sensors. Finally, a product that is reasonably priced and actually does what it was advertised to do. Yaay!!

I needed something to keep my CGM (continuous glucose monitor) on my body during showering, swimming, or being exposed to anything wet. I use a skin barrier wipe as well, but it doesn't keep the sticky stuff on the CGM on very well, so I purchased these adhesive patches. The market has all kinds of "pretty" or "fun" adhesives, but they don't hold very well ALL the time and they are sometimes very difficult to put on. This one has three tabs areas to pull off when putting it on instead of just one tab that can end up sticking on everything it touches. These don't work that way, I can pull off the upper tab, put it on my body, then move down to the next tab, pull that off, and finally the 3rd tab and it seems to go on easier and definitely lasts longer than the others have! There is ONE issue--if your CGM is a dud or something didn't go right when you put a new one on and you have to take it off, the adhesive is SO strong that it is quite difficult to pull off! I like that I can swim, shower, workout at the gym knowing this adhesive will keep my CGM on the entire time! Works very well!

These are great to keep the Dexcom sensor in place. Without the patches within 7 days the adhesion on the sensor was peeling back and losing contact to effectively monitor. However when I put these patches on it stays in place without issue. Because the cut out where the sensor is on the patch isn't very much bigger than the actual sensor it makes it somewhat difficult to make sure the patch attaches only to the adhesion patch and not sensor. Even if it sticks to sensor that doesn't affect removal afterwards or adhesion while wearing it. The removal was surprisingly not difficult but some hair was taken off in the process. Just imagine hospital tape on an IV and you get the picture.

The product performs well. It lasts 10 days, but by about day 6 it is frayed around the outside edge. This product also holds a lot of water, so you must dry it carefully after shower/swim. I do use skin tac to make it last for the 10 days.

This have a very easy peel to get to the adhesive. We love the 3 separate sections making it east to apply the patch directly over the top of the sensor. These do not cause any break oits on my husbands skin. They hold for the 10 days! Could honestly last longer. My husband swears a lot where we live due to humidity and these do not budge or peel back or off. They are breathable and comfortable! 5 stars!!! Fair price, good color.

I've been on the Dexcom CGM for about 6 months and I wish I would have gotten these on day one. I've used Tegaderm for years with my insulin pump site but they didn't cover well with the Dexcom and seem to make me itch unlike when used with my infusion site. I also tried a couple of medical tapes and still they seemed to irritate my skin and make me itch. While it is frustrating to have to buy something like this when the Dexcom is so expensive and in my opinion should come with something like this, it's still worth every penny. Also a box will last over 8 months so it's a minimal expense in the long run. These are so comfortable I think I literally said, ahhhh when I applied it.
