I originally bought a smaller roll of the same grass same brand 4x7 and it was not enough, (I didn't measure) so you may see some variation in color from different size rolls. My recommendation is buy more than you need one time and possible in one roll so you get that uniform color. I used the this 7x13 ft size and it cut it to my odd shaped yard. It came in one long roll, and was very easy to roll out and cut with a utility blade. I had nothing but a dirt patch here before sorry I didn't take pics. It was a year ago. I used grass stakes to pin it down after putting sand/gravel levels underneath. The whole process for this yard only took me a couple hours by myself. I have 2 big dogs, and 2 grandchildren who like to romp and play on this grass. It has withstood amazingly well over the last year. Where we used to get puddles of mud during winter is no longer as well. The grass looks and feels very natural. It has a nice thickness to it and most people comment on how it looks so real. Aside from my seem lines. Lol. It is also very easy to keep clean with the dogs. We had enough to fill this small. Space and even some extra pieces we used to line random areas of garden with it for a more uniform look in the yard.
