Some of it is caused from the fact we have a slow moving creek by the place. Some of it is caused by our sprout farm. (Sadly, all it takes is one container to have an issue and you have bugs.) Anyway, This little bug zapper was perfect. It fit great between a couple shelves on one of the wire racks in the room. At night it lights up the whole room inviting all those once annoying flying pests to their grave. I cannot vouch for how long the item will last but for the price if you can get a year out of it, buy another one to replace it just to get rid of those bugs. It is quiet, does not smell like a zapper burning flesh, and it is not that bright (though a visible blue can be seen in an open window at night, which is good...you want the bugs to see the light).
