Mains powered doorbell
Mains doorbell. Good price.

Exactly as described
This bell was purchased to replace one which was installed when we purchased our apartment 10 years ago. Although the box is smaller than the previous one, it was easy to install and looks neat. Good sound too.

Not a high enough voltage for Ring
I had hoped that the transformer in this device might be enough (12v or more) to power a ring doorbell, but unfortunately it's about 6V measured open circuit, and reduces significantly when there is a load (presumably the resistance of the bell itself) Anyway - unfortunately it doesn't work for a Ring device so I've had to buy a separate power supply / bell. (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001GJVSLE for the transformer, it took me a while to find one that was wall mounted!)

Great budget doorbell.
Replaced the one I had on a new house. The original only lasted 10 months.

Good straight forward bell
We bought this to update an older version. It is a straight forward bell that works as it should. Installing was easy if you have a basic knowledge of electrics and a screwdriver. There's no flashy variety of sounds but it sounds good and you can hear it from all over the house easily.
