Great price and great quality
I had a first gear jacket that cost over $$200 30 years ago. This is just as good a jacket. The cordura shell is definitely thick enough to protect you in a "slide for life" situation. The pads are very good and can be removed. The zip vents work great. You can adjust waist belt to fit. The zippers are heavy duty. Zip out liner for cold rides. Zipper air vents 4 up front and one across the back for ventilation through on warm rides. Two hand warmer pockets and two inside pockets. All in all, it was a great buy.

Excellent budget jacket, too hot for warm weather.
Overall the jacket is of reasonable quality for such a low price. In Colorado I've ridden with it fully lined in 40º and it was perfectly comfortable. Above 75º it is quite hot. The vents are okay, but only if you have a full stream of wind hitting them, riding behind a modest fairing/windshield renders them pretty useless. The liner zips out and unbuttons from the sleeves pretty quickly so transitioning is easy. I'm 6' and 240lbs and I got an XL. It fits snug like a motorcycle is supposed to, but not tight, quite a perfect fit for me. I have broad shoulders and a thicker middle section and normally wear XL shirts and ordered the jacket to match and was not disappointed. The two downsides I see are #1 it's not a warm weather jacket whatsoever. There is good protection with quality materials, but the trade off is warmth. On cold days it is great. #2 the sleeves at the wrist are pretty enormous and the velcro closures flap around if you close them snugly. When it's warm I've kept them somewhat looser than I would like so air flows into the sleeves, this alleviates the closure flap issue, but I don't like that when they are snug there's 2 inches of velcro flap that has nothing to attach to. It is good when it's warm to fit around larger gloves if that's how you like to ride. For the fit and value I'm overall impressed. I'm looking for another jacket for hot weather.

Excellent!
This is a great jacket! It has a quilted lining that easily zips out and it has great vents on the arms and shoulders. The shell is very solid and the armor seems solid too. Lots of pockets. I've been using mine for almost 2 years and its still perfect. Definately a great buy - especially for $55.

Did it's job
Went down after a tesla clipped my front tire. It definitely did it's job. The jacket tore at the elbow but didn't get any road rash, at the tear. The fire department cut it off unfortunately

My First Picture post
Awsome Jacket love the style and with my first motorcycle even the color scheme fit well...this is my reveiw1. Very warm with the liner in and when I take the liner out it is def more room....On most days you may need another really really light under jacket like a thin hoodie, just for the wind chill factor (that wind can def get to ya...lol).. I live in North Carolina and we do get really cold days but for this and on the below 30 degree days.2. Size I'm 5'10' 170 and this is the x-large fits rite to the t..and even leaves room for if you may need to put an extra layer underneath on those really really cold days and you still want to ride the cycle...3. service on time and on point..will def be ordering more from this seller..wife needs a new jacket for riding anyway...lol4. over all great feel and the pads add that little extra assurance of protection. I have the Can Am Spyder F3S 3 wheel trike but accidents can happen on any bike...

Great coat
Needed a coat that wasn’t leather for riding my adventure bike. Most coats I looked at the dealerships were big and heavy . I understand why, I wanted a medium weight coat for riding, okay to layer up if the weather changes. But durable enough to provide good protect when you go down or against the elements. This coat for the price meets all the above. Of course time will tell, so far I am very happy with the purchase. N

Love it!
Got this jacket recently, fits great and does exactly what it's supposed to. It may not be incredibly comfortable, but that tends to happen when you wear a jacket with this type of armor. With that in mind, I've never been uncomfortable while wearing this jacket and riding my motorcycle for over 2 hours.I can't speak to the water resistance of the jacket, because I haven't been outside in the rain while wearing it yet. However, I've done some small tests at home and it seems to be just fine.Overall I'm extremely satisfied with this product, and if I need to buy another in the future I'll very likely come back to this one.
