Saturo Meal Replacement Drinks, Chocolate, Vegan Nutritional Drink with Protein, Weight Gain, 11.1 oz Bottles, 8 Pack (Packaging May Vary)

This my first time trying a vegan shake. I only got them because a streamer (MDZ_Jimmy) drinks and advertised them and had a sweet code that allowed me to get them for a good price which stacked ontop of a sale they already were having. Onward to the review. These are surprisingly good I'm not a vegan and it broke my stereotype thinking of everything vegan is bland. However, I didn't buy these because I'm trying a vegan diet I just wanted to try something that would be healthy and fast for me to eat/drink and keep me full and from having to cook or eat out. In addition, also something I could quickly consume at work on a break that didn't require preparation. These really do the trick and fulfill all the conditions I listed above and I'm a big guy at 300lbs. They are not too sweet and loaded with sugars as you might see in other brand "shakes" which leaves you more refreshed than thirsty which typically happens with shakes. So if you expect and want your sugar these may not be for you. I've tried both the chocolate and the vanilla with my preference being the chocolate, it just tastes better with the minimal sugar as opposed to the vanilla. Unfortunately these are the only two flavors on the U.S. market with Saturo with it being an EU company they have the wide variety of flavors that are currently unavailable and I hope soon come to the U.S. If you're Vegan, or pursuing a type of diet, want to lose weight, or just want to be plain lazy, you can't go wrong with these drinks. As my headline states they really do keep you full as advertised with the 2-3 hours for me personally 3 hours.

I'm not exactly sure if there's a direct side-to-side comparison of the ingredients of Saturo vs Soylent, but I would like to know because I was surprised when I felt full after just one drink. Soylent cacao definitely tastes sweeter than this, but I still enjoyed the taste of Saturo after it was chilled. Usually I'll drink Soylent rtd and I'll still feel the need to eat some snacks afterwards. This hit the spot and I feel like I'll probably feel satiated for at least 2.5-3 more hours. I'm going to continue drinking my tetra packs and update my review if anything changes.

It is my 7th day with the meal replacement drinks from Saturo. A friend of mine recommended it to me in order to balance my diet. I am quite impressed by this shake! It is a healthy and convenient alternative that actually tastes great! I quite like the fact that it is not too sweet. Other meal replacements are not sugar-free. It's packed with all the nutrients that you could get from one meal since I am doing a controlled calorie diet after stuffing myself with all the Christmas stuff and cookies! My busy lifestyle makes it hard to balance my diet. But with Saturo drinks I get good “food” even when I am on the go - it is so easy to stick to my eating goals. Normally I skip breakfast due to my early shifts at work. I am on it for a few days now, I have a Saturo meal replacement drink each morning and I even still feel full at 11 am. Due to my changing work schedule, I replace my night snacks with a Saturo and still stay within my calorie goal. Packaging is brilliant as it is very environmentally friendly as they do not have a plastic bottle. So I’m quite impressed and my next purchase is already in my basket and ready for checkout!

The flavor (chocolate) and packaging are great. I usually put two in the fridge at a time. Even drinking it at room temperature isn't bad. The ingredients and nutrition are not listed on the bottle or the box they come in. I feel like I had to do some work to find this information. I feel like the standards to quality just aren't here with this product. On the 3rd day, I had one to jump start my day, but there was something different. It felt "fuzzy" and "lumpy". I just figured it was my taste buds so early in the day. Nope. It was spoiled, slightly curdled and tangy. As much as what these cost, having one spoiled is not worth it. I hope there are no more spoiled ones in the pack like that. I would say stick with Ensure, Boost or Soylent instead of gambling your money here.

I usually drink Soylent occasionally for a meal replacement. I wanted to try this as it was 25% cheaper and different. I've got to say, totally disappointed. It has a chalky dark chocolate taste compared to Soylent's smoother milk chocolate taste. Most of the ingredients are the same and the nutritional information matches as well, my guess is Saturo copied Soylent but either legally could not replicate the taste or they just failed to determine the right flavor proportion. I also get a mildly queasy feeling(similar to eating certain junkfood) after drinking saturo on an empty stomach, something that doesn't happen with Soylent. Also, my initial order was covered in mold, but I did receive a full refund for that one.

I got these to support 360Chrism originally, but honestly... the chocolate Saturo tastes super good when chilled. I feel like I'm actually "eating" something as I drink it, and it leaves me feeling full for several hours, which is impressive for just 330 kcal. I can understand why some folks don't like the price compared to other meal replacement drinks, especially if they're looking for more caloric bang for their buck, but the price isn't so bad when you subscribe or take advantage of sales. Just a note about flavours. I got the vanilla one real cheap during a recent Lightning Deal, and it's not so great. As with ice cream, it's pretty hard to screw up chocolate, but vanilla can easily be too sweet and cloying, and sadly that's the case here. I think you really need the strength of chocolate to cover up the fact that you're eating a protein-nutrient slurry. Overall, great for a vegan with executive function issues who doesn't want to skip meals but doesn't want to eat million-calorie junk either.

Product was chunky and undrinkable. I could hold it upside down and it would just ooze out like sludge. Waste of my money.

Reading other reviews I was worried about the taste but decided to risk it and ordered some anyways, I'm glad I did because the taste is fine, very similar to Soylent, nothing amazing but it doesn't taste bad at all. I drink these when I am working too much and don't have other food available and don't want to go get any, it's better than not eating. I previously kept Soylent bottles on hand for this, but Soylent switched their bottle style to add a plastic wrap and foil cover over the opening which made it less convenient especially if taking it on the go, and the soylent bottle opening now has a sharp plastic edge which is unpleasant to drink from, so I looked for something similar and found Saturo. The Saturo bottles are excellent, the square design is nice for storing in small fridge and opening the bottle is a simple one step opening of the cap, and no sharp plastic edges.
