Health Valley Organic No Salt Added Soup, Lentil, 15 Ounce

I have a sodium problem... I'm allergic if I have too much. Therefore, 99% of processed foods, I cannot eat. I cannot eat any fast-food, and just about everything I eat, I have to cook myself. So, imagine my surprise when I saw this soup on Amazon. Low in sodium, and healthy? And it's canned ! - Well, I took it to work with me one day for my lunch... and just the smell of it heating up in the micro... had my coworkers wondering what I was going to eat... They said it smelled good. And when I tasted it... It was delicious! I'm going to order more, and keep it as a staple in my pantry.

If you're looking for simple, healthy soup - this fits the bill. Please be aware that there is not a ton of "flavor" compared to your typical salt-laden soups, but easily rectified by adding your own preferred toppings. I added some spice and it worked for me as a healthy snack. The reason I dropped a star is because most of the cans I ordered were damaged to some degree - one to the point where it was difficult to open as the dent was curving the top of the can.

This soup is probably "good for you" but its too bland to eat as is. I had to load it with spices before I could eat it.

I have never tasted such horrible lentil soup before! The vegetables they said it had was just 3 flakes of carrots. I have added other items to it to help the taste, but to no avail! DON’T BUY IT!
