Herbal Defense: Positioning Yourself to Triumph Over Illness and Aging

This is an excellent book to bring the world of herbal medicine of India that has stood the test of time for 9000 years. Such a system would lower health care costs and result in a better quality of life, if not longer for those of us who make this choice. I do not agree with her views of low fat food or a relatively low meat diet. For of us who are diabetic the mention of stevia for sugar was not included. With these few omissions this book should be included for those with a interest in naturopathic medicine.

I had this book before and (stupidly) gave it away. I recently ordered it again and was amazed at all the magnificent information inside that I had completely forgotten about.The amazing power of herbs is showcased in this information packed gem of a book. Find out which body type you manifest most often and which herbs and foods work best with your body type(s).If you read this book with an open mind the information inside will change your life for the better and introduce a new world of healing/health/wellness for you and your family.

I likjed the book a lot but it was hard to follow at times. I have been taking herbs for years and I would recommend it to anyone interested in herbs. It gives you a break down of which herbs help what part of the body help.

I am building a library for myself and am collecting books for the library that I will have some day. This is one such book. I haven’t read it yet but I think it will be fascinating and am looking forward to reading it.

Easy to read and understand, a helpful way to get started incorporating herbs into your life. I really appreciate the experienced contributions of KP Khalsa to this book
