Scratch & Sketch Dino Dudes

My grandkids (and their parents as I see them drawing on these too) love these books. For the younger ones I prefer the pages that already have designs/figures similar to a coloring book on them to color in. Some of the Scratch and Sketch books do not have this coloring book designs and are black blank pages so note if the one you purchase does or has printed designs. The 13 years and older children prefer to do their own artwork designs and there are sketch books for them as well. I bought these to amuse the children on the airplane and later church and it worked great! They were busy, quiet, and happy drawing. A pencil type tool is included (just no lead in it). They loves to see what color is underneath the black. Plus there are a LOT of choices to choose from. Again note some have the coloring book designs and others are blank pages.

Coming from an 8 yeat old: What I like about it is, it's very satisfying, I liked it because it feels like I'm drawing, the colors are pretty along with the metallic, very easy to use, dinosaurs are my favorite. I have told all my friends all about it.

We got 2 of these for my 5 year old to share with another 5 year old. They had great fun drawing and coloring the dino's together and showing us the results. The book is meant for a little older audience, but it worked well for us to just keep them busy for a while.The product is also great quality and feels good in the hand. Perfect for gifting as well in my opinion.

My son (9) is not very artsy and never liked coloring but I've decided to try it and bought it as Christmas stocking stuffer. He loved it! He likes to scratch the lines to discover new colors (each page has different coloring underneath). It also have some fun facts about each dinosaur on the left side. My son really enjoys working on it, he even took it to school to work on it during recess. I will definitely buy more after he is done with this one... like robots!

Kids absolutely love this. Such a great gift. These new ones kids can trace the drawing.

I bought 3 from this series for a just turned 4 year old, a five and a seven year old. They have been a great success with all of them. I bought Princess Bella and Dino Dudes - both are the type with outlines on the black page so you can follow the lines and draw the pictures. These make a great present - there are lots of pages and on the left hand pages there is a story in Princess Bella and dinosaur facts in Dino Dudes.

My 7-year old nephew loved it, but I got to hate it, as the black colour stained not only the children's hands but also our newly decorated white walls... Should you buy it nevertheless, I advise you to make sure that hands and surfaces are cleaned and the book put in a sealed plastic bag before you allow the child to leave the table.

These look great. Bought a a gift for my nephew and he loves it.
