My mom had Stanley brooms all my life. So, one year (1994?), I told her, I wanted a broom, just like hers, for Christmas. Well, I didn't know that they curl up if they are stored with the brush standing on the floor. You must store it hanging up. For now, I'm storing mine upside-down. For various reasons, I only ordered a replacement brush just now. It was exactly what I was expecting. My old brush was yellow, and brown, with the name Stanley on it. The new brush is the colors shown, and has the name Fuller on it. Besides that, they seem exactly the same. I think, it works better than a store-bought broom, but, I may be biased. I just had to pound down on the old brush, to get it out. There exist two differet Stanley/Fuller brooms with replacable brushes. The handles are different. The brushes are different.. Parts are not interchangable. Sometimes, the whole broom is on offer. Sometimes, it's just the handle, or just the brush on offer. I am including a photo of my old handle, and one of the old handle with the new brush on it. To sum it up, this brush has a square peg that fits into a square hole on the handle. I hope this will clear up some of the confusion. This item has received unfair criticism, and complaints due to the confusion, and nothing to do with the items quality, or suitability. Broom looked like it was return m, since it was not in cardboard cover to protect bristles. I placed rubber bands around the bristles to keep them in place. A trick my mom used to do after she would wash the broom to keep the bristles down.

As sad as this may sound, I am in love with this broom. I purchased this broom head to replace the one I originally purchased 15 years ago (yes, 15 years!). I did look for another broom in between times, and found they either had bristles that were too sparse, too long & flimsy, or just did not hold up at all. I never quit using my Stanley broom that whole time. I finally took the time to simply order a new broom head, and couldn't be happier. The bristles are dense & firm, and do a great job cleaning up after my busy family, including our pets. Be sure to note that this broom fits the Stanley handle, and is a peg-type push on assembly, In other words, don't order this head & think it will fit on any handle. It is totally worth it!

I was given a Stanley broom by my mother over 40 years ago. No surprise that the bristles were matted together and the broom didn't work well, but the brooms available in department stores were cheap things that didn't do the job. So while looking online for a better broom, I came across this replacement head, which fit into my old harvest gold handle (I don't mind the color difference). It's like having my old Stanley broom back, and it works better than anything I've found.Be aware that this is just a broom head with a long, square peg that pushes into the appropriate handle. Don't expect it to screw into anything, then complain about it. If you have the right handle, this is the broom head for you.

I think this is a good quality brush. I bought it to use in my wood burning stove. I adapted the brush to a handle for the original brush that wore out.The brush is too wide but it will work. I knew it would be too wide when I bought it. I bought it because it looked like it was well made and all the fire place and stove brushes and brooms for sale on eBay and Amazon are total junk.It's too bad they don't make quality brooms that are about 5" wide. This one is about 8" so it's clunky to use but it works.

My Mom was a Stanley Home Products Distributor (a Stanley Lady.) I was brought up on using all of their products. One of the best was the slimline broom. It is lightweight and lasts forever! After 20 some years it was time to replace the head. I was happy to see that Fuller has maintained the high quality of this broom. My only issue was when the broom was boxed, many of the bristles were bended and spread out. No problem! Simply wet the broom and rubber-band the bristles back together. Hang to dry. EASY! PEASY!

I love this broom! I finally after 3 years ordered another head. It is excellent to get under low spaces, I have a salon and it picks the hair up well and gets all around tight to reach areas! I highly recommend it!
