All cotton well made great wicking
I needed these wicks for 18th & 19th century whale oil lamps. Today we use Jojoba or other oils in these lamps that need really good wicking Also using 100% cotton is more accurate to the time period These wicks meet all those needs at a fair price. Made in the USA is iceing on the cake

The media could not be loaded. I use these wicks for alcohol burners, I have found them to be very good quality, no shedding, a nice tight wick that wicks well, and keeps a good flame even in wind, (notice the fan behind but pointing at the burner) this is absolutely a recommended purchase.

Does what its supposed to do.
A wick is a simple thing, not much that can go wrong. I use this in a miniature oil lamp that provides bathroom light during electric outages.

Works very well
This wick works exceptionally well in my tibetan oil lamp. I may have gone through a foot of it in the last few months. I will buy again, when it's time.

Needs a threader, but good quality.
Wish these came with something to thread the wick into the small tube of the glass candle.

Exactly as described!
I am ecstatic to have found more wicks for my lanterns I was given for my wedding 16 years ago! They are small lanterns so I cut the 5' wick in half and put half in each lantern. They are now glowing bright and beautiful again.
