I find this book helpful in understanding the reason why humility is so important as we make progress on following Jesus.I love how the editor of the work used writings from various important Roman Catholic saints to help us reflect on what humility is.Very helpful.Thank you.

So if you have the original full book, this is such a great concise book that is easier to read and organized in a way that makes it easier to digest. The original book is like a fire hydrant shooting water out, so much to process and chew on at one time. This breaks it down for the reader and is easier to get to each day. If you are looking to grow in humility, this is a must have for your book shelf. Humility is the queen of all virtues!

Wonderful book! There is a short and profound saying by a Saint, along with a short reflection. It gives me a thought to ponder all day. Looking forward to drinking in all 100 of these sayings. May I model these virtues in my life.It would make a perfect gift for one who is serious about making life more meaningful.

If you are trying to grow in humility, you will profit from reading these. Not to be read all in one sitting, these meditations are for day by day. Beautiful hard cover and a ribbon to keep your place; this is a book to use and keep.

I found the ancient style of writing difficult in spots but the lessons are valid if not always easy to accept.

This is the kind of book you buy for the long term. I’m just getting started and love how deep the meditations take you to truly learn how to know thyself and grow to know our Lord even deeper. Looking forward to comt8niing to go deeper.
