Rhythm Tech Tambourine, RED, Regular (DST 30)

I bought this for a song my band is doing and overall it’s very well made and certainly loud enough. You can play it with the same ferocity as you play your high hat without worrying.My one gripe is it moves around. You can’t tighten it down sufficiently enough. They need to come up with a way to better clamp it to the high hat post. It’s certainly very usable, but the fact that it rolls around is irritating.

Surprisingly good quality, I was a bit skeptical at first because I assumed a basic drummer's tambo would cost closer to around 60-80 bucks. Definitely built to be slapped around, I imagine this will last awhile unless you're literally hitting it with cinder blocks.

I like this tambourine. It seems like it will hold up to the beating. I bought a smaller tambourine by another company and liked it a lot, but it couldn't take the beating at all. It broke after a few months.The one thing I will say is this tambourine almost has too much give. It almost seems like it's made out of rubber. It makes it a little hard to gauge how hard to hit it/ time it properly. However, I do like it. And it sounds perfect.

Yes this meets my needs and is a bright sound. The spindle mount seems to be in the right place, but needs a little extra cinching down. Even on a rough spindle surface, the Tamborine works itself loose with normal finger pressure tightening. I replaced the wing nut with a 5/16 nut and use a wrench to tighten it. The reinforced edge takes all the beating well.

Nice sound and very sturdy. It's definitely build to hit with sticks.

Love this tambourine. Loud musical jingle sound. Bought Rhythm Tech DMS2 universal mount so I could stand mount it.
