Our little guy unfortunately would choke from how much milk would come out not only when he was suckling but also come out on its own. I'd brought this up with our midwife thinking i was doing something wrong when feeding baby, but she confirmed tommy tippie bottles teats are not great. So i got these bottles. They're qbsolutely fab. The teat is soft so there is no confusion for baby when going from bottle to nipple as it does a good job immitating a boob. What i found really impressive is that when baby was suckling too hard the teat would pop inside itself stopping baby from taking too much milk at one time. I don't know if that was designed on purpose or is a flaw but it's saved me from having a baby choking on too much milk. I even went and bought the larger bottles for when we start feeding more milk.
