Wonderful item! Only downfall is that you need to hang to dry

I read all the negative reviews before I got these but I just couldn't resist the colour. I thought if they shrink too baldy I can use them folded up to catch drips by the dish draining rack or something. But after a couple washes I see no distortion or shrinkage. I do wash and dry on medium not hot, and I take my laundry out of the dryer while damp and finish it by airdrying so I guess that's the secret. It's flimsy cotton, of course it'll shrink if you expose it to serious heat.I really like the absorbency. It's hard to explain fabric texture in words... I have bought teatowels online before that were allegedly cotton but they were so stiff that water just beads off, as if they were synthetic. In contrast these are quite thin with a nice "cottony" texture, like a sturdy cheesecloth (but waffle weave of course), so they absorb water very readily! They are also light enough to airdry really fast.I am delighted to make that tradeoff- having a delicate fabric that does the job very well, but needs a little care. Much better than those other sturdy ones I mentioned that can take abuse but don't do their job at all.And the color is delightful! Exactly like it looks in the pics.I'm considering getting another pack so when these wear out I won't be sad!

The Seller sold at good price and made sure it got here on time if not a little early. The package was in good shape showing that the shipping and handling people are doing a great job sending them. The product looked so nice all tied up with a nice ribbon. Now the product does what it say, it is super absorbent & the weaves on the towel looks nice & I love the color. These are pictures of what they look like after one washing. I can't lay them in the towel drawer but because they work so well, I found a different place to stack them. Maybe if I washed them & hung them, they would turn up so much. You never know...

I always wait until I've had a product for a while before I review it. I love the color and the design but after you wash it once you can no longer use it. It shrunk drastically and I probably wouldn't mind but it's not even shaped like a rectangle even when I tried to stretch one back into shape. If you only need to use it then dispose of it then make the purchase but if you like to wash and reuse your kitchen towels then shop for a different product. Sorry but I wouldn't buy this again.

After washing becomes absolutely hydrophobic. Will move moisture around but won’t absorb at all. Comical. Also, as you see, structure transforms. Look good. Useless for drying anything.

I really want to like these towels. I got them in off-white and planned to get other colors if they worked out. I love the absorbency of Turkish towels and was hoping these waffle weave towels would be similar. They're a beautiful fabric, very stretchy and soft. It's just that they don't drink up the water. The moisture just beads up on the dishes. I was hoping that the problem was that they were coated with sizing, so I washed them several times but they still don't absorb. I now use them as hand towels and they're okay for that. They also shrink.

I loved them so much I ordered another set, I use them for drying dishes, canning ,and house cleaning. Very versatile.

Was initially amazed at the quality and size but these shrink drastically after wash/dry. Instead of spending money on a cloth bag and ribbon for shipping, quality of fabric should be upgraded.Update: Here are pics of before and after. And I stretched the after as much as possible. I've been keeping house for over 50 years and have NEVER, EVER, EVER even heard of having to hang-dry kitchen towels. Fortunately I only washed one. I will hang-dry the others but what inconvenience! Am changing from original 3 stars to 2. In this age of technology and convenience I find it hard to believe this company can't find pre-shrunk textile material for the manufacture of such INITIALLY IMPRESSIVE products.

Excellent value! I don’t have a dishwasher so I’m doing the dishes often and drying often too, I don’t have to worry about waiting for them to be washed and dried as we have so many! They are soft and bright, and easy to remove stains from.

These came last week and were well packed and are ready to use they are quite absorbent and wash and dry well so a great buy thanks

I like the fact that these actually dry my dishes, my others are all in the bin now

These are wonderful tea towels, a good size and as good on glass as they are on crockery. Will order second set.

These tea towels are a lovely colour and I am really impressed by how nice they are for the price! Although I haven't used them yet I am really happy with them.
