Sold on thrunite
I own plenty of "higher end" flashlights but this is my favorite, by far. Had I known about these years ago, I would have steered clear of surefire, streamlight, olight and fenix. I still love my other lights, but this is a whole lot of light for the money. It's really impressive. My dad was a cop for almost 40 years and used lots of high end lights. Once I showed him this light and told him what I paid, he had me order him several more for him and a few of his buddies. Lightweight, nice case, does a good tail stand, nice switch/switch between modes, insanely bright and priced more than fair. You'll be happy you bought one, promise. After receiving this light I ordered 6 other thrunite flashlights. You get more than what you pay for.

Amazing throw, great in the woods; battery life could be better
I've had several chances to test this flashlight since I got it a few weeks ago. I've so far gone on a handful of nighttime backpacking trips in the woods, as well as inspected an engine bay in the dark. Compared to my last flashlight, which was already pretty bright compared to most people's, this light is much, much brighter. It's so bright that I rarely have a use for the high or turbo modes. One of my favorite features is the long throw of the beam, even on the low setting, which is great for hiking in the forest. I can finally see down side trails or into the deep woods off-trail; no more excuses for getting lost. I purchased the cool white version, and I have to say, it's nowhere near as cool/blue as my former light. A lot of reviewers have mentioned that they don't like how cool it is, but to my eyes it's more like neutral white. My only complaint is the battery life. On most of my treks, I've had it primarily on low or medium, and only intermittently on high, and I was able to get around 5 hours out of a fully charged battery when it was in constant operation. I expected a much longer runtime. Perhaps it was because the temperature was around 15 F (in which case if you're winter camping you'll need to bring several spare batteries).Overall, I love it.

I would by this again
Recently lost a similar LED tactical light which I really grew accustomed to. I’m the kind of guy that typically has a flashlight with me at all times and feel naked without one. Since I was comfortable with the super bright LED, rear switch and power selections from Low to High I wanted to find a comparable light. Out of all the research I did the TN12 covered all the features I was looking for and seemed to have the most bang for the buck. Several reviews warned of problems with units functioning properly which were dually noted. Of course I purchased the unit and as my luck would have it the first one came it DOA. The problem was not with the electronics but appeared to be with the accuracy of the milling of the aluminum frame not consistently making contact. After a few messages between with the vendor they made it right and quickly replaced the unit with a functioning one. I initially purchased the flashlight with the Battery Charging kit and I would recommend you make the investment. The LED readout is great and lets you know exactly where your battery voltage stands. This is important since the older battery’s will start to lose their punch over time. As to the light it is amazing how bright it is for its size! The unit has four levels of brightness settings and although you may think you wouldn't need them all but I find myself cycling through quite regularly them depending on my needs so it’s pretty handy. The light itself came well packaged with several accessories including a spare rubber replacement switch cover, lanyard, belt clip and belt pouch. The extra’s weren't clearly noted on the description so I was happy to have them.

Brightness control is exceptionally easy to manipulate and the tail cap switch is very ...
I placed my order on 10 OCT 2014 and received my order 14 OCT 2014, exceeded my expectations on delivery time. The product arrived just as advertised. This is a very high quality torch at a very affordable price point. Brightness control is exceptionally easy to manipulate and the tail cap switch is very easy to activate, momentary on is near perfect to activate. My only gripe is that it doesn't memorize when you activate the strobe function. Once you activate and turn off the light and turn it back on it returns to the output it was on before activating strobe mode. I highly recommend this product, the firefly setting is very handy and for the size by far one of the brightest torches I've seen.

Two of two Thrunites and both are bad!
I can't believe this. It's the second (of two) Thrunites that I purchased and both have gone bad. This one, the tail switch doesn't work. And I've only had this a little over a week. I really wanted this to be a great light. I'll find something else better to replace it.

ThruNite TN12 light, charger, batteries and holster
I wanted to replace my Stroin light that I had four years. I chose this light over the nitecore and fenix for overall value, quality and I like that the mode button is recessed. The side mode button has to be recessed for my purposes and i need it to slide in and out of the wet molded, hardened leather sheath that I made for it.The quality of the light, batteries and charger are excellent. I like the 18650 battery format. The charger is the best and most versatile that I have ever owned. The pocket clip is great. When I'm not at work, I'll carry it in my front pocket with the clip.Great light, charger and batteries. Highly recommend.

but not great not what Im expecting
its ok, but not great not what Im expecting, the one I gut 4th and 5th setting is just but the same. there's is no step up from 800 going to 1050 lumens, as what the thrunite says.

Bright, well made, long lasting.
Really really durable small very bright flashlight. Came with two batteries and a charger. A hundred bucks seemed a little pricey to me even with the accessories. Very high quality and I'm very happy with it though. There a slightly better compact flashlights out there but they are a lot more expensive. I spent $40 for a Coastal compact light at Home Depot. It's not as durable, not as bright and it didn't come with batteries or a charger. Overall very satisfied. My only complaint is it was a little expensive.
