I also used it for awards and other important items. We have a bulletin board but I wanted these items locked up so no one could mess with them. They look great, we received many compliments on them. The only downfall which isn't a big issue is I wish the key would stay in the lock when it is unlocked. When you unlock it and pull on the key to open the door the key comes out.
