Gobble Gobble Mad Libs: World's Greatest Word Game About Thanksgiving

Who doesn’t love madlibs?
I am hosting a Friendsgiving for some mamas and kiddos this weekend and as a little gift for the kids (and something to do!) bought them each a madlib booklet. Perfect little activity they all can enjoy while dinner finishes cooking!

A lot of fun
I ordered 6 of these and after Thanksgiving dinner my family and I sat around and did the mad libs. There was a lot of laughter with the funny stories that developed. Who says you need electronics to have fun! Made some good memories.

Gobble Gobble Mad Libs
I enjoyed doing Mad Libs with my friends when I was a kid, and I knew my daughter would have fun with them too as she's really into writing her own little short stories and is very creative. Right now at age 7 in second grade they're really honing in on learning sentence construction and proper grammar and making sure they know how to identify different parts of the sentences. She was struggling a bit with identifying adjectives on some of her homework pages so I figured this would be a fun way for her to practice identifying adjectives and other parts of a sentence. She has been having a blast with this Mad Libs book from the minute we started it, AND the best part is she is learning and remembering different parts of a sentence - this is helping her identify nouns, verbs, adjectives and so on all while having fun. She was so excited after completing the first one and thought it was hysterical, she has already finished several pages in just the first few days. One of my best (semi-educational) purchases ever, I think I'll be picking up another one for a stocking stuffer.

Fun for kids!
Fun for the kids ....especially since big kids and little kids alike can join in. We do ours during lunch time so that everyone can have a turn picking a word....giving the younger kids nouns and numbers and older kids the adjectives and harder words. Works great and kids a laughing during lunch and still laughing periodically after lunch when they relive it with each other! ha!

Lots of fun
I love MAD LIBS-so much fun. Was introduced to them back in the late 60's. Did them with family members and also an English teacher in middle school used them in his classes as a fun way to teach about parts of speech.

Absurd goofy fun
We played this at Thanksgiving as we had our 10 yr old grandson and he could play along with the adults. It's silly and fun and a good lesson in basic grammar.Who doesn't want a good belly laugh once and a while?!😃

You cannot go wrong with mad Libs
Our grandchildren love to do Mad Libs! This Thanksgiving themed version was just the ticket to pastime on Thanksgiving day. One of the truly fun things about Mad Libs is that they are so versatile—Everyone can get in on the act and everyone will be laughing. It was a great bonus that it’s theme matched the holiday.

Bought to use at a Thanksgiving-themed potluck
I purchased these to use as a game for a church Thanksgiving-themed potluck. They are quite funny and lots of the older members remember having Mad Libs as a kid. Jimmy Fallon has made them popular once again on The Tonight Show, so most everyone knows how it works. Lots of quick, easy fun!
