SZCOSupplies Small US Artillery Sword

Purchased this for my sixth grade class to reenact Picket's Charge at the Battle of Gettysburg. It is a very authentic sword, but a bit on the heavy side.

Put this in my den which is civil war decor. Nice addition but is hard to hang due to the width of the handle. Make sure to wipe down because it is shipped with oil on it.

This was worth it to me to buy to carry on holloween being 20 dollars more than a plastic throw awayEdge is unsharpened and not meant to be used in any other way than display or acting !

Received as gift - the thoughtfulness was much better than the quality. Accents appear very rough cut/ shaped/die cast. Zoom in on mfg own pics and can see lack of effort in finishes. Look great from 10’ away. Heavy and unbalanced. Scabbard does not “ring” when unsheathing. Use as practice prop and save good stuff for special occasions.That being said - there is value for the price point.

Despite being a shorter sword than the small CSA sword, this has a slightly larger grip, but still child size. Worse etching than the small CSA sword, too. Good build quality, otherwise, but unusable by an adult male.

I purchased this item for my nephew! He recently visited Gettysburg and developed a huge interest in the civil war. I thought this would be cool. He loved it.

Solid and nice looking. My 9 year old uses it when he plays American Civil War Union Officer. Yeah, he's that kid.

Good sword. Perfect to open bottle of wine
