Great Product!
I absolutely love this bed! The quality is great, looks amazing, and the assembly is straight forward and easy! My 11 year old daughter put her whole bed together by herself from reading the instructions, with me just stepping in to hold pieces here and there while she got the screws started on some steps. She is super excited about this bed and she has so much pride in the fact that she assembled it herself! I would definitely recommend this bed to anyone who needs a loft bed for a small room or just wants more functionality in the space they have available!

Cute and went together well. Delivery was a pain.
My daughter loves it. The bunk is a little less sturdy than I'd hoped for but ok for the price. My biggest complaint was delivery. It took three days of appointments for it to finally get here. After staying home for the 4 hour window on 3 separate occasions, they finally dropped it at the front door. No knocking, no doorbell, just dropped at the door. If that was an option, I wouldn't have wasted 12 hours waiting for it to get delivered!

Solid but SO freaking difficult to assemble!
Once together, it's nice and sturdy and looks good. But oh lawd, you better be confident in your relationship with whomever is working with you on putting this beast together (don't try to do it alone!). Only SOME of the pieces are labeled. The diagrams are confusing. Maybe there is extra hardware, or maybe we messed it up? Who knows?? Anyway, do yourself a huge favor and borrow or buy a racheting allen wrench. Godspeed!

Exceeded Expectations
Whoever designed the manufacturing and packaging of this loft bed has a mind like a computer. A remarkably efficient package. There was not an extra screw or piece of packing material to be found. Every piece lined up without exception. I’d give the directions a B-. If you have more than a thimble of mechanical ability you should have no trouble assembling it.Cons:The price jumps around daily. I pulled the trigger at $327.50. I’ve seen it go over $600. I think it’s a good value anywhere in the range.I did have two double threaded metal sleeves pull out of the wood. The threads are opposite on the outside and fit the attached screws (righty tighty) on the inside threads. I figured out by using a small screw I could replace them into their fittings easily. Also, I did benefit from a rubber mallet assembling the large desk piece, and an electric drill installing the slats.Rubber wood, this is the first time I’ve heard of it or used it. It’s soft like pine. That’s not a bad thing, it’s just not hardwood. for those who mentioned smell, it briefly had the smell of painted wood… Exactly what you would expect. Regarding imperfections, I found the product well manufactured and without functional or notable cosmetic issues. If you’re looking for perfect drop $3000 at a retail store.

Bad buy
The bed came in with 2 part A and B, I did contact the seller who after a lot of work to verify the parts missing did send out parts C and D. However the parts in no way were going together. Considering this bed was 175 pounds there was no way I was going to make changes and this bed become unstable to fall on my child while under the loft bed at the desk. This was extremely disappointing but I was able to send this item back. I did not find that this was a good buy as parts were missing and the two parts most important to hold the bed up. Parts A-D are the support posts for the loft bed without them the bed is useless. I would recommend going to an actual funiture store for such an item. I ended up doing as much since these beds are really heavy and no parent want their child injured due to parts not fitting correctly and secure. This entire process took 3 weeks from order, receive, part shipping and return. And yes the bed is really as heavy as advertised. I hope you read all the reviews before you think about buying many are good why I decided to but I ended up having many of the same problems as others who wrote reviews did.

I LOVE this loft bed
I LOVE this loft bed/desk. It is great for a petite adult--a lot of the loft beds are designed for kids/teens, so it took awhile to find one that fit my needs, and this one is perfect. It saves so much space in my small NYC bedroom. The desk is the entire length of the bed, so it is a nice long well made desk. The espresso color is lovely. It is exactly what I was looking for.The assembly took me literally all day, but I did it alone and had never put together furniture before. If you have help and a little experience I'm sure it would take maybe 2-3 hours. It's a great purchase, if you want a nice desk and loft bed, this is a great one to get.

Came pre-damaged
Product is good...if they learn how to store and ship it properly. Sadly they dont. We ordered a white one and a brown one. Both boxes came to us after having gone through some type of war. Parts were scratched or cracked. We decided to keep it since it was still a good value. Beds are sturdy. Instructions are mostly understandable. At the end we like the product, just wish it was better cared for before it arrived :-\
