This henna is BAQ (body art quality) henna and it's pure, no other chemicals hiding in this stuff. As you can see from the photo I use it along with their indigo (50/50 mix) to get a brownish color to my hair. This is the healthiest way to dye your hair and my hair is healthier when I use it. I make the henna by mixing it with cold water then stirring well in a glass Pyrex bowl. I then put a lid on it and let it sit for at least 12 hours. Then I open and stir it again (consistency of pancake batter). I then make my indigo mix separately then mix together and put it all over my head. I then use Saran wrap and wrap all my hair up well. I leave on about 4 hours. Then I take off plastic wrap, get in tub with warm water asked lay down in it and soak the mud out of my hair. I then wash my hair several times with CONDITIONER only!!! You must not use shampoo for about 2 days. This helps the henna to develop into a deeper color and last longer.
