It's real cloth gaff tape, not some plastic wannabe.
It's cloth based, tears great, sticks well, and pulls off with no residue. It's real gaff. It's every bit as hot pink as you hope it is. I use it to mark all my cables and equipment and to make cue marks on the stage. I'll be buying lots more.Update!It is not (nor is any gaff as I have painfully learned) suitable for long term cable or equipment marking. The adhesive turns into goo after about a year in use and cleaning the cables and cable tubs out is a serious pita. This is not a fault of the tape, It was improper use on my part.I use the polyken neons for marking light cues on the stage, color coding lines and highlighting hazards. It is wonderful stuff

Works well, even better would be flourescent
I like this tape. I recently used most of a roll at a concert event and it kept folks from stepping on a couple of cords that I couldn't otherwise cover, as well as pretty much kept a conical area in front of a low projector clear in very low light so that folks weren't walking in from of my slide show. It definitely is better than duct tape - no residue, came off more easily - but I'm not sure it's better than masking tape. I should say I don't know that it's NOT masking tape with pink neon coloring. I did not see any residue left behind on the cords I used it on, or the concrete floor, so maybe that is an indication. But I think masking tape, left on for the same short few hours, would probably have done the same. Painter's tape, for sure.

Great for the classroom!
I use this to mark lines on my classroom floor. The tape goes down in August and I peel it up in June with no problems. A little bit of the adhesive sticks to the floor, but nothing like any other tape lines I have used before. There's about a 90% difference (for the better) than any other tape. I love that you can just pull it off. No more having to scrape and tear off of the floor piece by piece in June, after 10 months of gross kids shoes and whatever else is on our floor by June. A lifesaver! Our custodian loves it too!

Bright and randomly Handy
My love of gaffers tape happened right before taking a trip to the dessert and my sweetheart and I wanted to decorate our bikes for the ride. Gaffers tape came to mind when thinking about a tape that would be durable and came in many colors. It is super easy to use and tear. It stays where you put it and for the most part pulls off clean (considering some of the tape I have pulled off has been in the sun and on the object for about 2 years.) So if you are in the market for a good tape that won't let you down try some gaffers tape. *The bright color makes it easier to find what you are looking for in low light/no light or makes the task really fun under black light.

I bought this to tape down rugs in my home. I have had knee replacement surgeries on both knees and have to be extremely careful around my home. I have already tripped on my living room rug, by taping the edge with the bright pink gaffers tape I am more aware of the rug and with it being taped down I know I will not trip on the edge. The gaffers tape is nice as it does not leave a glue residue on the rug or on the floor.

Will not stick to concrete in garage
Not sure what happened but the roll I received does not stick to concrete, at all. It is thinner than other gaffer tapes I have used in the past. I am disappointed in the performance.

High quality amazing tape
I love this tape! what is is a very bright cloth like tape. This tape is very multi purposed and I use it in leu of duct tape every time aside from water related issues. The color of this tape is BRIGHT! it is definitely highly visible. Its a very high quality cloth tape that adheres strongly to virtually any surface yet when removed leaves absolutely no adhesive behind. I liked this tape so much, I bought all 4 colors!
