I have tried cheaper makes of card with mixed results but none compare with SanDisk, i will always buy these now.

My SanDisk Ultra memory card failed after about a year of use in my DashCam. I contacted SanDisk, but they refused to replace it under the 5 year warranty.SanDisk representatives state that SanDisk stands behind their 5 year warranty on these memory cards. So, I read the warranty. It turns out that the warranty excludes all except the most benign of applications. The warranty even excludes “normal wear and tear”... which is saying that the warranty, essentially, excludes "normal use."It’s easy to "stand behind" a warranty that carries such a broad range of exceptions… The standard SanDisk warranty request response seems to be… “I’m sorry, we won't be able to replace the card since it was used in a ___________ (fill in the blank) device.Why not just own up to the fact the these cards do not stand up to typical uses in modern devices?Why not just clearly state the warranty exceptions on the packaging?Above all, if you say that you stand behind your product then follow through instead of pointing to the fine print and weaseling your way out of replacing the card.The warranty text is below:This warranty does not cover use of the Product in connection with the following uses or devices (as determined by SanDisk): (i) normal wear and tear, (ii) video monitoring, security, and surveillance devices, (iii) internet protocol/network cameras, (iv) in-car recording devices/dashboard cameras/black box cameras, (v) display devices that loop video, (vi) continuous recording set top box devices, (vii) continuous data logging devices like servers, or (viii) other excessive uses that exceed normal use in accordance with published instructions.

I can do a lot of things with 32GB and I get this versatility at a reasonable price. Having several Windows 10 PCs locking up with a black screen or frozen in an auto repair menu. For these troublesome machines, I have been keeping one of these to use as a USB Windows 10 Repair disc to reload the latest System Image.

Purchased two, one had already failed in three weeks time. I'll stick to the Sandisk Ultra line from now on.

Product failed completely after only two weeks use. I had it installed in a dash Cam and only used it while commuting.The Dash Cam gave an bad cluster error and it cannot be reformatted.I bought this product because I needed a reliable memory card, not just a good deal.Now I need to buy something else and it will NOT be from SanDisk

I was initially happy with the purchase until it quit working yesterday for no apparent reason. Time to buy a new one but try a different brand apparently.

Now I have lots of memory in my cellphone. I had to get a File manager app in order to get access to the SD card

I only use SanDisk Ultra microSDHC cards. I have 16GB, 32GB and 64GB cards and will be ordering more in the near future
