This is good for hair removal but stopped working and keeps flashing. Tried to use it again a few times but still flashing and not working. Very disappointed only used it 2-3 times and now is no longer working. My Money has gone down the drain.

I am writing this review on behalf of my husband who bought this for me for a birthday present. I have pale skin and dark brown hair, the device is working properly, I followed the instructions for use precisely, used frequently and on the highest setting and yet no different whatsoever. Apart from the price, I am most frustrated by the wasted hours - I persevered for months with this thing. I am now deeply suspicious of the positive reviews, I simply do not believe them and can only assume that they are purchased/fake reviews. The lasers used in beauty salons are SO much stronger than this, I think this device is simply not powerful enough to make much difference.

I tried this product following the instructions exactly - I did one cycle of four sessions and about 50% of the hair disappeared on my legs, which was hopeful, but there were no further results after that (I did another cycle of four weeks and the maintenance cycle). I didn’t see any results at all on any of the other areas (bikini, underarm, upper lip) Not only that, but after a while hair started growing back on my legs. It is also badly designed, because the laser is too small and it’s impossible not to miss areas, so there will always be some hair left. I would not recommend it to anyone, because it doesn’t solve the problem - I still need to use alternative hair removal methods and I’ll still need to go to a hair removal salon. Other small points: the device gets very hot, leaves a burning sensation on the skin after, it’s not as quick to use as it says in the ad, the app is confusing and not intuitive at all (for example I couldn’t work out how to back log sessions) It’s an expensive mistake, as it’s absolutely not worth the money.

I've used this product or a version of it for some time, it helps me maintain hair growth rather than get rid of it all together btw.. if you want to get ride of hair it's worth saving up for professional laser hair removal. I noticed a crack in my laser attachment, not sure when it happened but thought best to ask for a replacement. The customer care service from Philips is appalling, even if you bought direct. Your account will show no orders or subscriptions despite you purchasing directly. There's broken journeys all over their website and you have to jump through hoops to find the right information they need just to confirm your item. Anyway long story short, they agreed to replace as long as i sent the item back first. This whole process took around 3-4 weeks. 2 months into using the new device and the same crack appears, again went through the ridiculously long process of getting a replacement, i post my item back and a month goes by with no new item. Turns out they can't ship replacement parts out now due to EU regulations, no one explained this so i had to chase again about my missing replacement and only then did they offer a refund. Which requires proof of purchase and contacting them again through their broken customer care process. I'm currently sat in a live chat where no one has responded for 15 minutes.. no refund, poor communication process and no way to replace any part of your item if it is fault. AVOID

Got this nearly 4 months ago, have used every 2 weeks. Disappointing results, yes hair is growing slower but not by much and certainly none has stopped growing altogether. Pale skin and black hair so assumed id be a good candidate. Often overheats during treatment and it takes around an hour to do legs, armpits and stomach. Will update if changes. UPDATE : bought 8 months ago. Hair still growing exactly the same, machine overheats at least 4 times during treatment, wouldn't bother wasting money.

It s effective but unfortunately it broke after 6 uses and because i was not in the same country anymore I tried to have it fixed at Phillips. They told me these things dont get fixed and I need to buy a new one lol? Not worth the money

There is absolutely no customer service ! I read the reviews for months before buying this, eventually gave in because it had such good feedback. When it arrived I used exactly as directed and waited to see results. Unfortunately none came, persisted with it but in the end it didn’t help even a little bit. I noticed no change at all! Absolute waste of a lot of money! Very disappointed as I had high hopes.

I've given this a good old try in accordance with the instructions, and it doesnt work. I've had salon IPL years ago, and there's not too much hair to cope with, but this device hasnt made a difference at all. The first unit I had was faulty, but having a replacement that's not faulty hasnt made the tiniest bit of difference. Sorry to burst your bubble if you were looking for something easy and cost effective to do at home!

The product was painful and did the exact opposite what it was supposed to do. Best for when you are trying to cure hair loss, not get rid of unwanted hairs.
