It's quite heavy, although I like heavy knives. The two chefs at work thought it a bit too heavy. I'm not a chef, so I cut food far slower, so the weight isn't a problem to me. I'm a kitchen domestic, so I just cut up the odd carrot, onion, fruit and such.Recently I paid £120 for a Global chef knife. Although I was impressed with it, I can honestly say that this knife cuts far easier. Side by side, this knife cut through a large carrot like it was soft butter. The Global cut through one too, but with more pressure needed. If I had to choose between the £120 knife and this knife, i would certainly pick this knife and save myself some money. In fact, I have purchased another knife for a birthday present and am seriously thinking of getting another knife to use at home. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pure Quality, Excellent price.
