My father-in-law is staying with us and has some trouble with his eyesight. My wife was concerned that he could fall down the (hardwood) stairs in the morning due to low visibility, so she put some random tape on the floor to mark the bottom of the steps. The tape turned out to be mounting tape for picture frames and was absolutely terrible to remove from the floor. After that, I started looking for a tape meant for floors that wouldn't damage hardwood, and this fit perfectly. (Basketball courts! Why didn't I think of that before!) The yellow color has decent visibility (though something reflective might be better). But better is the fact that it is easy to put down and to take off again. The adhesion is great so far -- it's been a couple months with no sign of peeling, sliding, or tearing. The backing is rubbery, so I'm pretty confident that when it does eventually fail I'll be able to peel it off easily and replace it. I only needed to use about six feet to mark both the top and bottom of the stairs, so the roll will last a long time. And it's pretty inexpensive compared to some other specialty floor tapes I've seen on here. So, I know I have kind of an unusual use case, but this tape has worked really well so far.

I like this tape a lot, have bought three rolls and will buy more. Minus one star because in every roll there are several tears, part way across the tape, or even just in the middle of the tape. In other cases it's a straight cut across the tape. At this price point I can live with it, but it's somewhat annoying. Depending on your application this might or might not be a problem.

Easy to use. Resurfaced the lines on it ping pong table, looks brand new. Long lasting.

Not sure what it's intended use is, but this is great to add to a white waste basket to look like a basketball goal. The orange was perfect, I was easy to use and served it's purpose perfectly. Senior Baskets DONE!

Pretty good quality but one roll is not enough for one court. I was exactly 21 inches short in completing one court with one roll.

I’m recovering from a stroke and doing lots of walking exercises in my home. I wanted to create a feature that they have at my therapy gym, a ladder shaped grid that helps me take longer, more uniform steps. I have luxury vinyl plank flooring and I thought it would tolerate tape pretty well, but I wanted something that would last without ruining the floor. I’ve only had it for a few weeks, but so far, it’s holding up well and even when cleaned with my steam floor cleaner. So far no sign of peeling off despite the fact that it’s in my hallway and gets a fair amount of foot traffic I’m very happy to have found this product and hopeful that it’s going to last for as long as I need it, and then allow me to pull it off with no residue or damage to the flooring. I would definitely recommend this product. Updating: after three months, it’s still working perfectly. No peeling, and surviving regular cleaning with a steam cleaner. It’s a great product! Inexpensive, easy to apply, and perfect for semi-permanent markings on a vinyl plank floor. I couldn’t be happier with it.
