Super happy
Very pleased. Great beginners drum. Nice sound. Unfortunately my phone did not capture the bass tone very well, trust me its there! Lovely workmanship, perfect size for a smaller lady. Easy handling. Would purchase from again.

Amazing sounds, for all ages
I have been collecting Djembes for 15 years, from all over this globe. This was a Bday present to myself and WOW did it not disappoint. I would support this company even if the drums were subpar, but these beautiful creations belt the most heavenly tones and are of amazing quality. Right out of the box no tuning needed, perfection packing and blazing fast delivery. Aloha to all the folks at AHP for the work they do and this amaizing birthday gift!!

Best drum at an amazing price
Absolutely amazing drum. Just got into hand drums and I made the best choice ever in buying this djembe. Very nice craftsmanship, love every bit of it. Sounds very nice too. You can hit the middle for deeper tones or the rim for a high pitched sound that sounds like a steel drum. Super fun to play. Would highly recommend this djembe to anyone wanting to get into hand drums.

Good for kids and adults, beautiful sounds
This is a great drum and we will be using it in our youth group at our church. It's small enough for child to play but big enough for adults, too. The sound is distinct and beautiful (and LOUD), and although I've never heard actual djembe, it sounds authentic.

Terribly Disappointed
The first one came in with the top skin lose in many areas, not only bad on the eye, but a defect that was clearly lose and would get loser over time, though the sound one came in (just noticed) damaged on the top skin as well, this time stained on one side and ripped on the other, and I was sent the replacement drum, I ordered and paid for the 9" x 18", which is also a bit of a darker color, but I received the 8" x 16". So 2 defects and the wrong item on the replacement. I'm now trying one more attempt at a 3rd replacement and if the 3rd is defective or the wrong item, I'm done with any attempt at purchasing this item. So very disappointed and a huge hassle.

Beautiful looks and sound.
Beautiful drum. Everything was exactly as advertised. Fantastic sound and carvings. Well worth every dime. It also came within the promised delivery window. Only drawback was the tracking. For days, it would only tell me that it had left Oregon. It's the only thing that prevented a 5 star rating.
