It is what it says it is
I'm sorry but can't say much other that what's already been said.Easy to assemble apart from pedals and feet straps instructions need yo be clearer for a simple woman such as myself lol.Sturdy.Does the job.Not used to much as my knees are exceptional bad but been good gor my arms.It is a little heavy to be moving about and a little bulky if you don't have cupboard space to store it.

Does the job although not as robust as others
It's a good little excercise machine. It just feels a bit cheap and not so robust as others on the market. I bought a similar for a family member a while ago and that was of solid build and very robust. This one, when "cycling" it moves around more than I would have liked.I do recommend this product as its a really quick way to get in some deserved excercise.

Pedals narrow and clunky when adjusting resistance
Use for mobilisation after knee surgery. Non-slip mat is great. Easy to assemble. Pretty basic, but good value for the price. When increasing resistance, is a bit clunky. Pedals not ideal - very narrow so better with footwear with a sole.

For people.who.want to go far without leaving the house!
I had been home for over 2 years fighting cancer with only hospital trips forcing me out of the house. I decided i wanted to get fit as my brain tumour, medication and cancer treatment have ledt me weak, feeble and given me extreme anxiety about leaving the house. My wife gave me the idea to buy this great contraption. I can now sit in the comfort of my living room watching my tv and cycle as far as i want, as long as i want and as often as i want. No panic attack about having to leave the house, no fear of falling off and hurting myself, no worry about getting lost or forgetting where i am plus im always in close proximity to a toilet and somewhere to get a good cup of coffee. Awesome!Plus, it doesnt take up much space, very sturdy peice of equipment, well built and easy to use. You can also do more than just cycle. You can put it on a table and use your arms to work it giving you an upper body workout or put it on the floor and get into the press up position and arm cycle that way which exercises every part of your body.*Not suitable for goldfish!*

Too light to be usable - for me. Other people may gain benefit.
I have given this item one star, because this item absolutely failed at the task I bought it to do, but other people may find it suits their purpose very well, so to be fair to the manufacturer, I think I should explain a little more.I'm 52, male, 6'2'' and until quite recently, was fairly fit, but not an athlete or regular gym user.Something happened to me last year which has left me with severe weakness in my left leg and arm, leaving me with some quite severe difficulty in walking.I spend a lot of time at a computer, and so, when I saw this item, I thought it might make sense to give myself some gentle exercise whilst sitting at my desk. The product arrived quickly and in good packaging.Assembly was minimal and straightforward. The machine itself is very light and mainly constructed of cheap looking plastics. On very low resistance levels, the machine is fairly quiet, but if one increases the tension, there is quite a loud 'squeak', which may have faded if I had used it for longer than I did. This is not a high end machine, but the asking price is very low, so - you get what you pay for.I put the little cycle under my desk and put my feet on the pedals, and off I went. Two revolutions later, and I was groping under the desk to reposition the cycle as it had skated away across the oak parquet floor, even though I had set the pedals up on the 'anti- slip' mat.I repositioned it, and tried again, with similar results, except that this time, probably due to the difference in strength of my left and right legs, the thing slid away at an angle. Now, I'd like to think I'm not one of life's quitters, so I persevered with trying various angles, tried bracing the thing against the wall with a piece of wood and tried laying an old towel underneath it, all to no avail.Every time I tried using the pedals, the thing skittered away after a few revolutions. For me, this does not and will not ever work, it failed completely and I returned it the same day.But.I was trying to use the pedals on a setting that offered some resistance. If you have a carpet under your desk, and are only going to be using this on the very low resistance setting, this could work for you as a means of ensuring good circulation in your legs if you are sitting at a desk all day long.I can see a possible benefit for housebound elderly people as well, and, assuming you can stop it skating away over the floor, and are using the pedals on a very low resistance, it would certainly assist in maintaining circulation to the lower limbs.I suspect that if the manufacturer had included suction cup feet to be fitted for hard floors, and carpet spikes for carpet or coir flooring, this might have been reasonably useful. As it stands, however, I can only give the one star, even though that rating can only reflect my experience.I wound up buying a much more expensive and elaborate exercise cycle instead.

A brilliant substitute!
I used to do a lot of cycling outdoors as well as indoors but 3 back operations put paid to it. So i saw these on Amazon and i thought it was what i was looking for. It turns out that it was! This item means i can sit in a proper chair and pedal away for half hour while watching TV or even at my PC. I found that where i was pretty much sitting and not doing a great deal, (Covid has not helped) or not getting out without walking much i was suffering in my lower legs with water retention and bad circulation, so i thought i have to have a go at least, plus i got it for the great price of £36.00. When it arrived i basically had to screw in the floor stands (4 screws provided) and i was up and running (well cycling if you know what i mean :) ) and i have now used it every day and started to see benefits. You can also stand it on a table and work your arms while standing. It has a meter on it for different things like kilometres cycled, calories gained back, plus totals of all your day to day cycling. It also has a tension control that you can use to turn to make it harder to cycle almost like you was going up hill. I would say not to use it on carpet as it will move, i find it best on laminate, but you are also provided with a grip matt and if you put that down on laminate first you will have no problems. So if you are thinking about it just go for it and see the difference yourself!
