I suggest be ready to put it exactly in place within 10-30 seconds, and keep emblem in place for a few minutes, or tape for 15 minutes. it will continue to gain strength for about 24 hours. For many other household uses you can be careless and it will still hold very good. If a person has never used something like this before it may be fun for them to practice first on some other plastic to plastic or plastic to metal.

I am going to take a truck metal emblem off for repainting. After the painting, I plan to use the glue to put the emblem back. will it work?

We removed on emblem off 87 volvo then clean the back off emblem and re-glue back on and it work great.. Hope this help you it good glue..
