Don't forget the rubber seal
I purchased this to repair my 2006 Dodge Ram 1500. I'm getting the evap system error and, through a bit of research, found this to be a common issue. So the replacement is super easy. However, it did not fix the issue. Turns out that there is supposed to be a rubber seal where this connects to the evap canister and the seal is not included. Oh well, lesson learned. Still would recommend

Order gasket also on vapor tank .
Correct part but there is a gasket on vapor canister a small round one replace also.

Worth the $$$
06 Ram 1500 4.7 4x4 check engine light and gas cap light came on. Obd scan read evap leak. I checked hoses found no leaks. So I bought/replaced this leak detection pump and this fixed the problem.WARNING: you will need to buy a new VAPOR CANISTER SEAL (see pic) this doesn't come with one. This quarter sized gasket/seal goes around the hole where this LDP connects to your evap cannister.I learned that the hard way.

The unit caused my truck to run like crap
The unit had codes going off on my truck about a major evap leak .I put the old one back on and the codes went away . now it's too late to send it back , stay away.

Easy installation, seems equivalent to the OEM part
Seems to be a good quality replacement part. Doesn't include the vapor canister seal so be sure and order that part separately.
