Pristine vinyl pressing no scarring or scratches
All is really good the sound quality is clean and distortion free. I have the original pressing which is a bit brighter sounding.Overall excellent vinyl and easily worth the cost. The electronic piano sounds outstanding.. This is a solid Jazz /Soulalbum. When it was released we sold huge mounts in our Musicland store. This is a crossover album that I highly recommend if your are just starting to listen to Jazz.

The Song: Sun Goddess on 45 Vinyl
This VINYL 45 Recordance of Ramsey Louis with Earth, Wind & Fire ("Sun Goddess") was packaged and shipped to me in such an AMAZINGLY PROTECTIVE case with even ADDED notice on the package "DO NOT BEND." Brand new as they said; not one scratch or slight speck of dust on it!!

Excellent Lp pressing
I've always had good luck with Music On Vinyl Lps. Flat disc, quiet back ground, top notch sound quality, very detailed and full sound from bottom to top.

Great Music from an Old Friend
It's been yrs since I've listened to this Old vinyl friend β¦. still sounds current and great and just the process of putting it on the turntable was nostalgic and fun. So many things change and yet some remain the same.

ramsey lewis.....sun god?
Having already proven himself in jazz circles , Ramsey Lewis passed over to what is now known as smooth jazz with this album. Funk, jazz, smooth harmonized vocals madetMathis album extremely popular when it came out. It still is relevant to listen to today. This younger generation can get an idea of what musical innovation and genius can produce. Putting forth sounds that don't depend on auditorium testing to see how the masses respond to the sounds. Great music is created, not manufactured like they seem to do too often today.

great soul jazz LP
really nice version of a classic soul jazz record. Music On Vinyl consistently delivers and this is one of their best IMO - the LP cover is perfect and the pressing is fantastic.

Sun Goddess.....
This was dinner music back in the day for our crew....I had the vinyl. Early smooth jazz. Not my favourite....Ramsey has another album..."Routes"....that one's worth it!The price for a used copy got me to tumble....delivered $3.50That was hard to resist....I didn't!....Sonic UPDATE..MAY 28thNot bad sound for a 1974 recording. Turns out this pressing wasoriginally a Japanese imprint transferred from the original tape. The jazz/funk sound is well done on some cuts and the early synthwork is just that....early! The guest vocals (Earth, Wind and Fire)on the title track, Sun Goddess are quite good. For the money I paidthis one is worth it too!
