First and foremost - props to this particular seller. They included tools (magnetic-tip screwdriver for splitting hull and hex key), they included a contact sheet with support information, and their upgrades seem VERY well-done.Clean install on everything internal, right down to nice cable management. Factory upgrades installed correctly and well-lubricated, nice upgraded speaker box, and 360° turret slip ring is a very nice and unique touch.Excellent price compared to factory-upgraded tank, and everything feels top-notch.New controller and electronic control module are much nicer than older versions, and generally this thing is great fun for the money. It definitely seems to stand up to tanks twice its price!

I bought two tank the other was a M1A2 that stooped working (I returned it, will buy another) this one was a gift for my brother, and it works great does everything it should and is a lot of fun. We did tank battles until mine stopped working, it was a lot of fun, can't wait to get my replacement so we can battle again.

Really like the tank. Two minor issues worth mentioning. The 3700mah NMHi battery was bad. It would not charge to full capacity. I have an advanced charger and even tried to cycle the battery 3 times. The highest it would charge to was 1400mah. Discharge capacity was only a touch over 1000mah. The tank would run for 5 or 10 mins then shut off. Had to purchase the Lipo. The second minor issue was one of the plastic parts (tow cable) apparently did not injection mold completely. The loops on one end did not fully inject. So far I could not find a way to notify the manufacturer to get a replacement part. It's just aesthetic so not a deal breaker.

I ordered this tank with the intent of ordering a second for IR tank battles. I was concerned that the information on Amazon was not entirely accurate and I was right. The listing says it comes with a 3800 mAh nickel metal hydride battery, instead it came with a 1800 mAh LiPo battery, not the end of the world since I prefer that chemistry but not as listed and shorter run time. It was also stated in the listing that the turret was capable of 360 degree rotation, it’s not, only 320 degrees, not as listed. The smoke seems to work better on on side than on the other. I will say the detail and the operation are great and a lot of fun to play with. The metal tracks are a big plus but have little grip on tile floors. Overall, I like it and will be getting another of the same brand, I am hoping that it will meet my expectations for durability.

Purchased the tank back on Feb 20th, everything ran good the first couple times, however after really allowing it to stretch and drive over various terrain, it suffered the first tracking incident, then after that it was a relatively common issue. As I feel the metal is rather soft and easy to snap along with being kind of stiff… So after replacing the road wheels (metal for looks) and tracks with taigen tanks (if you wish to purchase upgrade parts for this particular tiger from taigen, look for early/mid tiger parts as this is a early model and not a late model I learned the hard way but I’m also good at modifying things to work!) hopefully the tracks issue has gone away. The only thing I wish, is that the tank would come with some better quality metal tracks.All that said I still feel the tank deserves a 5 star review, it is EXTREMELY accurate historically speaking as far as looks go, and the tank will function quite well for 95% of people who purchase it. I’m just hard on a lot of things I own and expect my tank to function like a tank(fyi metal road wheels and tracks make it sound more realistic!) but for the price, and included features it’s a damn good deal.

This is a great tank for the money, by far the best value out there. Unfortunately after a couple weeks my sound went off. The seller gave me clear instructions to troubleshoot. When it was clear that the problem was with the board the seller offered to send me another one immediately and not demanding to get the old first. He is very responsive and proud of his customer service. I’m shopping for another tank from him to thank him for his professional service. The seller is Tina Art Inc

Heng Long has done an great job on the details of this Tiger. This tank shoots airsoft BB's, generates smoke from the exhaust and has that iconic Tiger engine starting sound when turned on from the controller.This is my first RC tank and I am very pleased with all the upgrades this seller (Delta-LT) has provided. I opted for the metal gears and tracks (although it does detract from the aesthetics) for more rugged outdoor experience. It should be noted that the tracks will have to be cleaned before operating indoors again. The turret has been upgraded to rotate 360 degrees along with a 3800 ma battery from this seller.I have researched a lot of forums and watched countless YouTube videos and while the Tamiya tanks are amazingly detailed the price of one is the same as a bathroom remodel. I paid just over $200 US with Prime shipping and I could not be happier with the quality of Heng Long's product. This Heng Long Tiger 1 from Delta-LT is the best bang for your buck. Their customer service was excellent and I would buy from them again.

I had been wanting a RC tank for some time but the prices has been sigificantly high over the years to get a full metal kitted out one with the gearbox,tracks,idler etc all metal. I found this while searching through other heng long products and took the chance on it since the reviews for the product on .com were good.It arrived in good order and the packaging protected the main box just fine, you will note on the box there is no options ticked but there is a 6.0 and 2.4ghz stickers about.First things first, it may look from the box like you have a older version, but it isn't. Once you get it all open you have the higher capacity battery and detail parts aswell as the tank.You also have the newest board inside, the box notes 2 sounds, but I found the tiger, leo, and the two M1s available to switch between which indicates its the newer 6.0 boards and system.Besides the new main power pack your also provided the AA batteries for the transmitter, though not knowing how long the product has been in storage you may wish to opt to replace with some duracell ones just to ensure longetivity.You don't seem to be provided with the USB connector which the manual points to for the new pack but a connector to a UK plug socket, this is fine, but the only drawback is there is no LED indicator on status of battery charge so I will probably purchase one seperately just so things don't get overcharged.Detail wise the tank is up to a good standard, I would probably compare it to a Tamiya tiger kit without photo etch details added. The detail pack you get has a wealth of items to add to the tiger to really bring it alive, you may wish to repaint or weather/wash the parts to make them look less plastic for abit more realism aswell.A note of caution, on first activation it may have the smoke unit already switched on and volume at maximum, you will want to turn off the smoke unit untill its got oil in and also turn the volume back to a lower setting.Function wise, it has almost all parts which the manual points to, bar two things which I seem to not be able to activate: left hand driving mode and the dual-current driving system, this maybe what the seller refers to that the 2.4ghz manual is wrong.It does have the speed switch modes, you can set it to a somewhat smaller pace, aka like a WW2 tank or high speed mode which is more like a Leopard or Abrams.Operation wise, the tank is quite smooth running, it may sound abit like its groaning at first but that is how motors generally sound on models to you up the speed. Turret rotation is the full 360 as described and its smooth aswell.One thing to note on turret is the barrel isn't the recoil type, e.g. it moves, this is reserved to the newer Heng Long tiger upgrades, it does however have simulator gun recoil of the tank so I think personally thats fine.Any negatives about this tank and kit?Not really, but the decals you get with the tank are not particularly historically correct besides the cross symbols. It has a running number of 3818, however there was only about 1500 or so tigers built by germany. You could remove a digit and make the tank 381, however it might be worth just getting after market decals to get appropriate ones.The other con so to speak would be the charger, having no LED indicator makes it differcult to know when the 3800mAH power pack is charged, if you want that sadly you will need to purchase another brands with the tamiya connector type and the correct battery charging type.Honestly the cons are minor, but they are worth mentioning anyway. Finally, if you wish to add abit more detail and such, you can look into after market, I've got some grills for the engine on order and will be doing some weathering to make it more like a working small scale tiger tank in model form.So is it worth the asking price at the time of purchase of £219.99? Yes, you won't get a Heng Long Tiger I with the upgrades at a cheaper price, the nearest I found was £299 which is the newer ones.If its your first adventure into RC tanks I can highly recommend it, your getting a full package which has enough bells and whistles but isn't to complicated so you can have fun but also be serious about the hobby to.
