I am looking for around 1000 cards. We are using this model, FC 100 and they work. My question is : How the FC works? should I ask for a specific FC? How do I know if I need 26 or 37 bits or any other? Would any range of numbers works on my readers?

If u use FC 100 on your current cards then for sure cards ordered with the same FC e.g. 100 will work with your system. Just make sure you don't order the same card numbers! As for 26 or 37 bits.. you need to check the system you use your current cards with...

What printer works with these cards?

All Clamshell Proximity cards, no matter the brand, cannot be put through an ID Card Printer. In order to customize a clamshell card you would need to buy special CR80 adhesive backed cards, print on them and then adhere it to your clamshell card. DK-Discount ID

what software should be use to track the usage of these cards?

I use the cards with the RS2 system. The application is called Access IT Universal. The RS2 system opens doors.
