The Complete Word Study Old Testament (Word Study Series)

Finally what I’ve been looking for! Each word in the Old Testament is assigned a number and I can look up the definition in the Word Study OT Dictionary which I already had. Lots of great tools inside this book. Highly recommend for studying. You must have the dictionary as well.

Bible design leaves much to be desired for English translations. This volume separates the record of Hebrew Scripture into understandable terms and context like no other book I know of. It is truly a life-long research guide into and for Creator's recorded communication for Man to understand Life and Reality.Many with deep knowledge and lifetimes of research into Hebrew Scripture records and how they were first recorded and what they were meant to do in the time and place the recorder lived make this compendium a must read for any humble-minded Truth seeker.I know of little else in human history with the same effectiveness to guide one into Life long peace like this volume can.. It uses a reliable Bible translation as a foundation for the "house" that is designed and built upon it by many renowned minds. The information this presents forms a reliable guide the student can build a successful life on while providing researchable leads to source material gathered over the 3500 years of Hebrew Scripture existence and human experience with.Words fail to point out all the benefits contained for all who take time to carefully study and apply what this single volume contains.

This is an essential book for cross referencing quickly. I have this, plus the Strong Concordance and now I am able to quickly reference or find key information. The Bible and the surrounding documents are very dense with meanings and context which are necessary to really 'reading' it. For those who don't want to pursue a theological degree but still want to be able to seriously discuss insights, this book has to be worth a good year of college courses. If, on the other hand, you are a pundit or theologian, this is probably within arm's reach of where you work.

This is my second purchase of this book. It is a gift for someone who has no Christian library Great service also

Not what I thought I ordered, however that was my error. The book I wanted was the word study dictionary... They look similar. I rated it 4 stars as the book was slightly damaged. There were about half a dozen pages which were damaged with severe wrinkling/crinkling which caused fading of some of the type. The pages are thin and there are a couple of the pages which will forever be difficult to read (but not unreadable).I did not contact Amazon as it would have been more of a hassle to return the book then simply be ok with the slight damage.

I like that the text is easy to read and study. Saves carrying around a concordance for the meaning in the proper context.

Been using this for years - moved back from abroad and bought a new copy. Hebrew dictionary gives greater insight into the original meanings of the text.

I have not had the chance yet to truly delve into the pages of this book for serious studying. But it is a very well made good quality book and it is a blessing to know I have the ability to peak into the original languages when studying.

Came as the way it suppose to be and easy to read
