It's a true 150mm long, not a 6" scale with metric on one edge. Now I can flip it around to any end and read it normally. It's nice that it also has 0.5mm increments. Love the satin finish. Note: This is a RIGID scale with no flex what-so-ever. Most of my machining is now in metric, and this has saved me so much time and aggravation.
