Viking B.T. Elements Jacket is 100% Waterproof, wind resistant and washable and constructed of polyester/PVC. Two large pockets and a drawstring/adjustable hood. Elastic storm cuffs. Coordinating colored zipper and mesh lining. Review: Nothing is perfect, but this Jacket is fair deal. - Good protection against elements, so obviously sweaty. Good quality. Wishes: Something reflective to improve safety ( it is BLACK - so night time you are invisible ). Pocket flaps can be improved to hide it in pockets when lighter protection required. Tested it in some rain we had yesterday and it held up well. I did not get wet. It was a little warm inside but its August so wearing anything long-sleeved and airtight is expected to be that way this time of year. I could tell that it is breathable because my old raincoat had me soaked in sweat pretty fast. This one did not. In winter it should keep me dry and warm without overheating. Good product for the price.

Not waterproof
Must be only for very short periods of time in the rain. Was soaked through after not much time in steady light rain.

Good jacket! Little warm for Seattle climate

OK Price - Cheap Materials - ATROCIOUS Quality Control
Material is a very thin rayon with a plastic coating on the inside - like a pup tent. Prepare to work up a sweat 5 minutes after you put it on. My jacket came with a sleeve liner that was somehow turned 180 degrees before it was sewn into place. As it is an integral part of the way the wrist is elasticized, it is impossible to easily fix. I think I'm going to send it back. All in all not bad for $10 if yours isn't defective. EDIT: Low and behold, 2 weeks after I sent it back with a note specifically indicating that the the sleeve was defective, the item unwearable, and to please not try to resell it AGAIN, it has been re-listed on Warehouse Deals. I suspect this jacket will spend the rest of time just getting shipped from, and back to, Amazon. Sigh.

I bought this jacket to ride ATVs in the mountains with and so far it has kept me dry. This jacket is waterproof as advertised. I have not had any water leak through. No complaints so far.

The jacket just didn't have any good inside lining, it's more like a wind breaker.

Good Rain Coat
Decent quality. Warm with a hoodie underneath and we get lots of wind by the mountains.
