hey they are plastic but fit tight and seal well. My old ones broke down in sunlight, but the new ones won't have that problem

Double check your order
i should have ordered one with coarse thread on outside and the 3/4 inch threaded knock out also

cheap quality, cheap price
It had a couple of things I didn't like. One, I could not get the knock out for the 3/4 threads to come off. So, I drilled it out. Second, the recess for the seal was to deep. I had to shave down the outer lip to have the seal exposed. Things I like about it is the price. It was the cheapest I could find.
