Lunds Swedish Pancake Mix, 12-Ounce (Pack of 6)

I LOVE this mix! Easy to make, tastes divine, can be made ahead and will be fine to use much much later. I have mixed a batch, not used it all one morning and made fine pancakes the next morning with leftover batter. A little trial and error will determine the best pan, spatula and heat temperature that works best for you. Also, I find that in addition to a non-stick spray on the pan before starting to make pancakes, putting a bit of butter in the pan each time before the batter is poured helps the batter brown and makes flipping the pancakes over much easier. The pancakes are versatile e.g. Crepe Suzette as suggested on the box, maple syrup and butter, lemon squeeze and confectioner sugar and they are wonderful plain. My family will snack on them when they are cold in the refrigerator!! The mix is not found in all stores or in every location of the stores that carry it so I am very glad to order it at competitive cost through Amazon.

Lunds Swedish Pancake Mix is the best product of its type that my wife and I have found for making Swedish pancakes. The resulting pancakes are thin and light without the doughiness of regular pancakes. And, they're tasty, too. Our local supermarkets carried Lunds for years, but they recently discontinued them in favor of other non-Swedish pancake products that are also competing for supermarket shelf space. Thankfully, we can still order Lunds Swedish Pancake Mix through Amazon! To prepare them, just follow the directions printed (in English) on the box. Recommended!

For years I have loved getting the Swedish Crepes from IHOP. Everytime we went I would get this dish. My wife surprised me one day by making Swedish Crepes with the Lingonberry preservers and the Lingonberry butter! It is the BEST breakfast I have ever had and will be having a major impact to my waistline. I refuse to let her make them for anyone else, not even the kids. The Lingonberries are an excellent cross between cranberries and strawberries. Not too sweet not too tart. Wish the price was a little better otherwise highly recommend. My father was an immigrant from Sweden, and married an American girl, that was a very good cook. I remember growing up and looking forward to our clam digging trips, that were followed up with a meal of Swedish Pancakes. My mom made the pancakes from scratch, but we lost the recipe after her death. Over the years we have searched for a Swedish Pancake like mom made. We found the perfect substitute in the "Lund's Swedish Pancake Mix". They are easy to make and are just like mom made!

Our local stores no longer carry. ARGH! I am Norwegian and Swedish and our family served Swedish pancakes regularly, with Lingonberry. I've had American (hearty lumberjack) pancakes less than 5 times in my life, just don't like them. Swedish pancakes are awesome, my husband prefers them to American as well - he didn't at first but he is a convert now! I make them from scratch occasionally but find the mix is so reminiscent to my childhood I prefer the box....

This is the most yummy pancake mix in existence! You will not find any better! The thickness is that of a crepe. The taste is heavenly! The ingredients are minimal which is what I like most since the majority of other pancake mixes have a thousand hard to pronounce ingredients in them! TRY THIS TODAY! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! I recommend real maple syrup or Lingonberry preserves with these! ENJOY!
