Great for beginners or born again Rollerbladers
FYI, I am not a beginner and I never stopped Rollerblading. I had some late 90's Rollerblade Fusion MX skates that started crack along the frame and wanted to get a quick cheap replacement to allow me to keep skating, but give me time to do research before purchasing a more expensive skate. I also wanted to see what the more entry level kind of skates had to offer these days before upgrading. My skating style is recreational trail and urban. I mainly go just to burn calories and be outdoors. Some background on my old skates. The Fusion MX was a top of the line recreational skate back in the day with a super solid full shell, and 3 heavy duty ratcheting buckles. No laces! They are heavy and only accept up to 80mm wheels I believe. Big, clunky, and slow, but SUPER secure! and heavily padded. I got the Fusions second hand in the early 2000s as new skates from my dad who never used them. The Fusions replaced my original Rollerblade Lightnings and were a huge upgrade. These new Zetrablade skates are almost the opposite. Very light, one buckle with laces, but still small wheels I was apprehensive, but once I tried them out AND figure out how to tighten them correctly they did the job! They were comfortable, more secure than I thought they would be, and faster. These skate worked great for the price! However, I still preferred my clunky old skates, because even though these were more secure than I thought they would be, they couldn't hold a candle to my Fusion MX's. Since wearing these skates I have fallen twice, hurting myself in one of the falls. I had to go back to wearing pads and a helmet. I was not wearing them because I had not fallen in 15 years in my Fusions! These skates also feel less maneuverable, they may have more space between the wheels (I have not compared yet) making them harder to turn, and the less support may make them harder to turn as well. While not perfect, these types of skates allowed me to figure out that I probably should be in the Twister XT for my style of skating and I will upgrade to those by next summer. If you are a beginner I would highly recommend these! The price is awesome! As I write this they are even one third off of the MSRP, which would make them even less expensive than the Rollerblade Lightnings were in the mid nineties (another entry level skate). Even the MSRP has to be less expensive if you adjust for inflation (woof, left next get started on that subject). As for the Twister XT, yes I will be upgrading to those, but you may find that you want more of a speed skate instead after trying these out. If you have never tried skating, or are coming back after a long hiatus, I highly recommend these. NOTE: I highly recommend any new skate over old 1990 skates as the plastic gets brittle over time and can crack or break causing a bad crash, I was lucky and the crack in my skates did not cause them to fall apart while skating.

Durable, Reliable, Very Comfortable, & Stylish
My brother bought these skates so he can lose weight but ended up never using them so I stole them. Best skates I’ve ever stolen. Unfortunately, they were a size 13 and I am a size 10 so few days ago I had to order the same skates in my size ‘cuz I absolutely love these skates. So comfortable, you can skate forever. They also have this sporty look to them so you’ll be rollin’ in style. I’ve seen many reviews about these skates and how the wheels were all torn up in such a small amount of time. If you put one skate behind you sideways and you use your wheels to break then YES, ABSOLUTELY your wheels are going to not last long. The wheels were not designed to rub on hard surfaces to decrease your speed! That’s what the break is for! You can also learn spinning techniques that can stop you immediately.

The most fun I've had in years
I don't know how these skates compare to other brands but I'm completely satisfied. Today I want skating at a cemetery and I had so much fun. I'm not an extremely experienced skater. In 1994 I did some rollerblading for a little while. I've done roller skating. The important thing to me is having a secure fit. You definitely don't want loose skates. These skates have a good amount of cushion. They have laces, velcro and a snap to secure your foot. When it comes to inline skates, you don't want to waste your money on a cheap skate. Before internet shopping was available, you had to purchase local. You didn't have options like you do today. My first pair of inline skates were the ONLY option I had and they were nowhere near the quality of these skates. I'm not saying these are the best skates available but they are great skates! UPDATE!! So, I've had these skates for over a week. I've been going to the park everyday and skating. Everything is still working as it should. The wheels are holding up good. The brake is getting some heavy usage but its performing up to my expectations. Hopefully my skills will increase enough in the future for me to disregard the brake completely but its great to have right now! The velcro, the shoe laces and snap are all still working properly. I have fallen once so far. That was an operator error lol. Every fall helps point out your weaknesses so don't be embarrassed if you fall. Just get back up and try again! Overall I'm still loving these skates!

Overall A Good Rollerblade
Overall I like these rollerblades, however I liked my old [early 1990's] Rollerblade Lightning rollerblades better... because they had more ankle support, were more comfortable, and the buckle worked much better. With these Zetrablade rollerblades I have to spend a long time trying to get the top buckle to push in the slot so I can tighten the top of the rollerblades tight around my leg for full support; I think the buckle is thinner plastic than on the Lightning model, and the buckle on the Zetrablade fits into the slot and goes behind the plastic of the outer boot, whereas on the Lightning rollerblades the bucket fits into the slot and stays on the outside of the boot plastic so you don't have to fight to push it through the slot; When you push the Zetrablade buckle through the slot, because the plastic is thinner it bends instead of goes into the slot. When I am finally able to get the top buckle tight enough then it hurts my leg because the padding isn't as comfortable as on my old Rollerblade Lightning rollerblades [those were really comfortable]. I also seemed to have more stability with my old Lightning rollerblades, something to do with the wheel size [the wheels are shorter on the Lightning model] and perhaps the wheels are in a different location on the Zetrablade rollerblades making them feel in the wrong position, not giving me as much stability as I had with the Lightning model. I wish they'd make the Lightning model again; I'd buy those instead. Overall I am happy with the Zetrablade because they look nice and have a nice low price [as the Lightning model]. I took really good care of my Lightning rollerblades, they were almost new looking, but because I bought them in the early 1990's [over 25 years old] the plastic must have gotten brittle because when I tightened the upper buckle the boot plastic broke from the stress of the buckle pulling tight; I threw them away; I loved those Rollerblade Lightning rollerblades; I like the Zetrablades.

Very comfortable
Stuck at home, my family gifted this to me on my birthday. I've tried inline skating before a decade ago, and didn't get very far. Back then, my skates were uncomfortable and I fell a lot. I gave up after four attempts. These are a much more comfortable pair. There is padding inside which is useful for a total beginner but gets in the way of intermediate or advanced skaters (that want perfect 'transfer' and control). Since I'm a beginner, I have been a bit rough on the skates, and they have scuff marks on the side. The skates have also been left outside in the sun and don't look worse for it. The wheels are softer than other inline skate brands. This again is useful for beginners but might not be as good for intermediate skaters. The wheels rotate freely, the wheels are stable and don't wobble. Depending on the surface you practice on, you might need to rotate your wheels (instructions and allen key included). You will also need to lubricate the wheels or periodically remove them to remove hair and other debris that invariably gets caught. Again, this is easier than it sounds. You use the allen key, remove the wheel. Remove the debris, brush it away with an old toothbrush, and put the wheel back. Sizing: I got a size 10 and my foot-size is 10.5. I recommend a tight, snug fit. My foot is snug inside these blades, and they hold on to my ankle and heel near perfectly. If you do start, please do buy knee, elbow and wrist pads. After trying a few brands, I settled on pads that are also made by this company that makes inline skates. They were the same price as other no-name brands, and are much more snug. Starting out, I also recommend the excellent videos by SkatefreshAsha on Youtube. Good posture and good technique is vital to avoid back and leg pain, and to avoid fatigue. And as you get comfortable, you will need to learn specific techniques (stopping, turning, one-leg balance) that is essential to developing good technique. Get your posture and technique right, and in a year or two you can justify a good professional pair if you'd like. Or you can continue with this pair recreationally or for a quick run around the hood. Hope this is useful, and hope you can learn how to skate as well! Skating is now it my special father-daughter hobby!

Comfortable and stable
Being a beginner, I had purchased another well reviewed brand, but the problem there was, there was less padding. So at the end of the session, my shin had deep marks with the plastic lip biting and it was very painful. Not these ones. These ones is very comfortable. So much so, that I can spend an hour without feeling discomfort.

High Quality Product
Amazing product. The color is great, and the speed is solid. It is very comfortable and quite enjoyable. This product is easy to put on and take off. The wheels work great, and the rollerblades roll smoothly. The size is just right, and I am incredibly impressed with how this product has performed. Overall, it is definitely a great product.

So happy with these! Not been roller bladding for around 20 years, so was excited to get back into it. Amazing price too under £70 due to a damaged box! Cant complain! They glide effortessly, they fit very well and they are really comfy. The quality is really good all round.

Great product! Size, comfort, and quality are amazing.
The Pros: - The rollerblades fit great and have padding that feels like you're wearing a really comfortable pair of shoes. - Took a day to break in the wheels but they are really easy to move around in. - Pretty lightweight - Brakes work great and wheels move as they should. - Straps are easy to put on and adjust. Velcro, Shoelace, and Cable tie are all present to ensure a comfortable and secure ride. - They look just as good, if not even better compared to the picture on Amazon. - Reasonable pricing for good quality rollerblades! - The Technical manual, allen keys and screws are all present in a neat packaging - The package arrived 5 days early :) Very satisfying haha Cons: - Feels like there's a small bit of room above my toes, but it doesn't impact my ride.
