YLX Universal Ceiling Fan Light Lamp Timing Controller Switch Wireless Remote Control Kit Transmitter and Receiver

Works great, the original unit that came with my ceiling fan had a remote control dimmer, unfortunately it didn't work with led bulbs, resulting in the bulb being dimly lit even when it was supposed to be off. Installing this unit solved the problem, it had no dimmer but I didn't particularly want a dimmer on the 'big light'. The fan controller works great. Best get someone with a bit of electrical knowhow to fit the unit if you are unsure, I had no problem fitting it, but wouldn't have felt comfortable with my mother fitting one!

Found that my existing Fan/Light did not work with an LED bulb. The bulb would glow when there was power but it wasnt switched on. Rather than buying a new Fan I thought I would give this a try, and glad that I did. It doesnt allow you to dim the light but I knew this before hand so no issues there. This is also Radio Controlled and the range is very impressive. Basically works anywhere in the house. There is an annoying beep everytime you press a button but the little speaker can be desoldered from the main unit and it still works absolutely fine, which I have done. Overall - very impressed

What an absolutely great piece of remote control technology at a rediculously low price. This is the second one I've fit, and this time adapted to work with the exclusive connectors of the Westinghouse ceiling fans which came as a manual pull on/off and 3-speed sequencial pull selector . You'll see in the enc. pictures how simple this was. You just require a bit of Dexterity and the sundries. Set the fan manually on for light, and on the highest speed setting for fan (using remote instead). Then cut off pull cords. You also have the luxury of 1, 2, 4 and 8hr timers. Pushing one will allow fan and or light to automatically turn off after the selected duration. Spot on too.

I'm sure this will work fine but this only just fits in my fan canopy/rose but then not enough room to fix back to ceiling so had to remove it. Just be aware if purchasing and getting an electrician to fit as it may be a waste of his journey and a waste of your money.

I had a qiachip unit a short time ago and that was perfect. This is, I suspect a faulty unit resent out. Batteries were inserted, which in original are not supplied, no wire connectors or guide like other one. When switched off motor is still live and fan creeps around. Am returning.

Easy to replace the broken unit and works perfectly well with the ceiling fan. Happy with the purchase

Took too long to come too big to fit in anything you need I can find that too many connections there is no map in with it you got a go online all the time need to pull your socks up Amazon or you could lose a good customer
