Rupert and the Frog Song [VHS] [1985]

I had this on Betamax as a kid. In fact, my parents still have it ... along with the Betamax machine. But I wanted to relive my childhood so bought a VHS copy.It's way shorter than I remember. It felt like it played forever as a child, but it's about 13 minutes!Along with Rupert are Seaside Woman and The Oriental Nightfish, both by Linda McCartney. Seaside Woman could be considered racist by today's standards by the depiction of a Jamaican family as purely black characters, only the eyes and mouths really standing out as features.As for The Oriental Nightfish - who the HELL thought that was appropriate for a kid's video?! A naked animated Linda playing an organ at night gets possessed by an alien life force, abducted, and ends up being shot, screaming, in to the sun. Wow. That was some trip. Scared me as a child, actually quite like it as an adult!This copy was a little worn (may try getting another copy in future), but ticked all the nostalgia boxes.

arrived next day and I had a nice note form the seller with an additional dvd as well as the video more than happy. My children had this when they were little and it got lost in the moves so I am so pleased to now have a video and dvd for my grandchildren to enjoy.Thank you for the kind thought of enclosing DVD as much easier these days!!!

my mother has always liked this song. I've wondered if it was me she put the video on for or herself. But she has enjoyed since I bought this as a gift.

I gave this video/cd to my wife who is a fanatic about anything to do with frog's, the rest of the family are trying to hide it as many time's as possible as we have been subjected to listening to it ever since Christmas day. It is I must say one of the most enjoyable video's/cd my wife now has in her collection.

The video was delivered before the stated delivery date. The video was in very good condition, almost looked like new. The quality of the video play was also excellent. My children have watched this video well over a dozen times since I got it. I would definately order from this supplier again. Thank you.

Though it's only a short it's as perfect as an animation can be.Rupert gate crases a frog concert.The frog song is so touching and I think kids will adore it.The two additional music video's played afterwards by the late Linda Mccartney are also of surreal brilliance.
