Tweezerman Smooth Finish Facial Hair Remover (Assorted Colors)

The spring device was the main reason I bought this set. Overall, I recommend it and am pleased with its effectiveness, but there are some “things to know” in my cons and pros that might be worth consideration. Cons: - takes some practice to get the hang of it, for effective tweezing and for controlling pain; rolling from different directions feels awkward at first but gets easier and significantly improves the effectiveness. - more painful at first than I expected, but after using it a few days straight the “maintenance” areas were not painful and plucked more easily - the tweezers are too soft/spongy to be effective with anything but the easiest-to-pull hairs; they have no grab for the tough bristles the spring misses. -even the spring can’t pull some tougher hairs, unfortunately; but changing direction can help for some Pros: - really catches the fine hairs and gets into small nooks like under the nose - does very well with peach-fuzz hairs which cuts down on some of the stiffer ones, too.

This is really effective if you can get it going in the right direction, but that can be a bit tricky. It's built asymmetrically, so you have to flip it around to always use the correct side against the skin, and then you have to point it a direction that'll pick up the hairs; rolling forward against the grain seems to generally work. If you can get it to catch, you can then pull out many hairs at once, and you can get even very very short ones. So, I can clean my entire upper lip in less than 15min. On the other hand, in areas where the hair goes every which way, or where it's hard to point the tool the right way, you can thrash around a good long while without actually doing anything; it's almost useless on the underside of my chin. By the way, once it starts getting oily from too much skin contact, WD-40 is a darned effective way to clean it.

When I buy something new, I expect it to be a better alternative. This product plucks one or two hairs, it's painful, it takes forever to notice, and it doesn't work at all And I have no idea how to clean it, so it's a totally unhygienic product. Well, it came with tweezers, so I bought a pair of inferior tweezers for $17.60. Thank you very much. It's ridiculous. The tweezers aren't good either. It takes strength to press them.

This product has potential. Will work well under the right circumstances. The hair I want to remove is too fine or possibly too short so it doesn’t work in the area where I want it. In addition, you need 2 hands to operate it so if you need to hold the skin taught, you would need a second person to do it. It did not work on my fine facial hair but it would definately work on a different hair type if you went over the same area multiple times. I like the tweezers it came with. They work well and is the reason why I didn’t return it.

I bought this handy tool here after misplacing the one I had purchased from Sephora, mainly because the price was way better here. This is a fantastic product and available here for half the price I paid for it at Sephora. ( Sephora also touted this as Limited Edition- yet the one I purchased here at Amazon.com came with a complimentary tweezer and is the exact same product as the limited edition one- same color, same labeling, identical. I can only tell them apart due to the old one having a slight crimp in the coil from getting squished in my tote bag. I would t call them completely ouchless; every now and then I grab a hair with them and i feel a little sting, it's minimal to be sure but I definitely feel the tug. I would still say this was less painful and traumatic than waxing and much faster then using a tweezer. i have found that if I use this for a few minutes everyday after about 3 weeks I hit total smoothness. At which point, I continue daily use but it takes far less time going forward to maintain the no peach fuzz look and feel. I will caution anyone who is considering purchasing one to be careful of getting any hair you aren't trying to remove (as in coiffure, brows, or lashes) caught up in it, as it stings much more than the occasional facial hair which might smart. It seems longer, thicker hairs sting or pull more than shorter, finer hairs. All in all, though using this tool to remove hair is not really what I'd consider painful. It's very convenient!

I was hesitant when I purchased this item and then found a ytube on how to use. I am blessed with excessive amount of facial hair which requires removal weekly. This tweezer has been my lifesaver. It is slightly painful but not as much as wax removal and does a great job. Have patience when first learning but works great. The key is in the constant twist as you roll over your face. Definitely watch ytube called facial hair removal for women 7 ways.

Tweezerman makes quality products, but this item is simply ineffective. The two-hand operation means you are unable to apply any additional tension to the skin surface, which is critical for removing hair at the root. The twisting coil is a poor hair removal method even with a motorized coil, and this manual coil does not rotate sufficiently in one twist of the hand to remove hair effectively - just grabs the hair and holds on but does not tweeze (ouch!). Get a Braun Face Epilator FaceSpa (900 Series) instead - costs 4 times as much but the dual-direction rotating multi-tweezer head works 100 times better!

Depois que eu aprendi no YouTube a posição e o manejo corretos , eu consegui tirar todas as penugens do rosto e pescoço. O desconforto é tolerável. Não preciso mais fazer a depilação com a linha, consegui o mesmo efeito com esse instrumento !!

Últimamente me irritaban las bandas de cera fría, así que probé este depilador facial y estoy encantada. La primera vez que lo usas es un instrumento de tortura en toda regla, pero después no duele tanto. Eso sí, hay que pillarle el truco y pasártelo varias veces hasta que pillas el pelito en cuestión, porque siempre hay alguno que se resiste. No apto para sensibles.

Duele... sí, sí duele, pero de que funciona funciona... Es una maravilla, ¿cómo no había comprado esto antes? Todas las mujeres deberíamos tener uno. Aparte trae una pinza de regalo, que aquí en Amazon rondan los $150-$200 El único “contra” que le veo es que tienes que dar varias pasadas para quitar el vello. Al inicio lo estaba usando al revés y no me funcionaba en absoluto, así que si no te funciona, trata volteándolo y siguiendo la dirección de las flechas que vienen marcadas.

Die Frau ist begeistert von dem Ding. Sieht zwar unspektakulär aus, ABER funktioniert super! (Anmerkung zu manch anderer Rezension hier: unbedingt die Drehrichtung beachten, dann klappt's auch) und vor allem ist diese Methode nahezu schmerzfrei. Im Vergleich zu Epilierer-, Waxing- oder Sugaring-Methoden ist hier der Schmerzlevel ganz weit unten anzusiedeln. (zumindest für den Gesichtsbereich ist das "feminal approved" ! :-) ) Meine Frau ist begeistert und greift ohne (schmerzhaftes) Zögern zu dem Gerät. Haare entfernen im Gesicht - schmerzahft und kompliziert??? Nie wieder, dank dem Tweezerman!!!! Klare Kaufempfehlung von meiner Frau - und mir auch ;-) Hier hat sich die Kosmetikbranche wirklich mal was tolles einfallen lassen!
