Reason for purchase: My godson is 3 turning 4 this month & I've moved 4 hours away from him. As a result I don't get to spend much quality time with him. In an attempt to continue to stay involved in his life I researched book & STEM toy subscription boxes I can gift him monthly. After weeks of reading reviews & details on the products included in each subscription, I came to the realization that the age ranges are entirely too o wide to be guaranteed age appropriate toys or books. I decided to build my own. If you're considering this method I feel it's no surprise when I reveal the price is dependent on what you buy. In most cases the subscription boxes will be similarly priced, if not the more inexpensive option. I purchased: The Crayons: A set of Books & Finger Puppets alongside The Learning Journey: Match It! - Counting - Self-Correcting Number & Learn to Count Puzzle. Review: The books included in this set are The Crayons Book of Numbers & The Crayons Book of Colors. He loved opening the box & pulling out the books. The set was impressively packaged with the finger puppets right at the front & it make a fantastic gift. I've already joined him & his mother during his story time via facetime . He was delighted the puppets were the same as the ones in the book. He seemed to find The Crayons Book of Colors story entertaining. I feel I got my money's worth so far. I've already scheduled a time with his mother to participate in the reading of The Crayons Book of Numbers. My hope is he'll be just as engaged. Highly recommended.

Absolutely adorable gift my 18 year old son picked out to go to a baby shower. Lol... Wood by again if another baby shower comes up. It really is a unique gift.

Edited: the replacement was in perfect condition. I read other reviews about the books being the same. I do see that some illustrations look the same and some are different. It is not the same story though. The fun is the goofy crayons the illustrations are cute but the stories make the book. I look forward this gift being the Segway into getting the whole line of books for my son in the future. Ordered it new and it arrived completely destroyed and looks used. While this is just a gift for my infant son and he wouldn't know the difference it's unacceptable. Going to try and exchange it for one in better condition.

loved the finger puppets and the book is easy to read cant wait until he can read it. I just wanted to also let you know that the crab toy does not work well the one eye does not light up and the music is drowning out is their something I can do .Please let me know my grandson loves the toy.

Lo mejor del producto son las dos marionetas. Los dos cuentos son más finos de lo habitual, por lo que me da miedo que La Niña los rompa, no son los típicos de cartón duro.

Be warned, the books are not actual stories, instead, they are numbers and colors identifications with little to no actual writing involved. I'd say they are more suitable to a 2-3 year old. apart from that, you get what you see with decent quality.
