I used these to hang a bunch of Polaroid pictures. They worked really great. And I didn't ruin a bunch of pictures by stabbing tacks through them. One magnet was perfect for each picture and since they adhere using a sticker they are easy to remove without damaging your pictures. And I was able to put my picture on a magnetic board, so I didn't damage my wall hanging 70 polaroids with frames or tacks. The magnets themselves are very thin and therefore not extremely strong, as I said they worked well for my purposes, but if you were using them for something heavier you would probably have to use more than one square. You do get plenty of magnets to work with though.

I needed magnets to make my magnetic bookmarks for my Etsy shop. I needed some that were thin, but not too thin and strong, but not too strong that it would pull down the book page. These worked perfectly for me. I do have to cut them in 4ths (I’m obviously not the best at cutting) and they’re semi easy to cut which is great! They work perfectly for me but I only use them 280 gsm photo paper. I doubt they would work on anything heavier than that. My only complaint is that the adhesion isn’t the best. It’s not terrible but the back of the photo paper I use is sort of grainy textured and I am able to take the magnets off. They don’t fall off but with enough pressure I can peel them off and not ruin my paper. Though I doubt I would be able to remove them from regular paper.

They are very nice not hard trim to size.

I ordered these to create my own custom makeup palette. Simply: order a MAC empty palette (Z palettes are overpriced and not as large as the MAC palettes), stick a magnet inside where you want an eyeshadow or blush pan to sit, and let the metal pan stick nicely inside!The magnets are strong enough so that the pans don't shift around, even during travel. These magnets are especially suitable for my purpose because they are already "pre-glued" on one side, so you just stick them right to the palette. My only complaint is that the magnet sheet arrived with a few squares falling off the sheet and jumbled around. However, they were still thoroughly sticky and usable.For reference: one magnetic square is about the size of a Makeup Geek eyeshadow pan.

Overall, pretty good but the other reviews and the AI summary are correct. It seems to be hit or miss on whether or not they hold. I had some feel like they’ve been demagnetized, but others worked great for what I purchased it for.

I got these specifically because another reviewer mentioned they use these for magnetic bookmarks. That was exactly what I wanted them for so it was a no brainer. However cut them in half and they repel each other. My bookmarks are oversized so thought I’ll use the whole thing then, but also a no! They repel each other and if you find the polarity to “stick” they aren’t attracted to each other they just don’t repel. Maybe my brain is fried - had my husband come take a look. He found adhesive side to none adhesive side seems to work ok. Nope that was the adhesive! These show a post card or picture on the fridge and that’s all they’re good for. Wish I hadn’t cut some for my project because I’d return them if I could.

My husband and I are planning a family vacation that will include a 17 hour road trip with a 3 years & 1 year old. I bought these magnets to stick on the back of dollar store puzzle pieces for my oldest to keep himself busy and they are perfect! Snipping then in half is super easy & makes them the perfect size.These aren't super strong, so if you're looking for something that's going to hold the stack of take out menus to the fridge, they won't get the job done, but they're perfect for holding a picture or other lightweight objects and I'm sure they'll be easy for my child to manage while on the road.
