It's basically what it looks like and nothing more. It has an electronic function that I haven't tried out, but it does what it's supposed to: it looks like a gun. I ordered this as an accessory for a costume and it was the perfect touch at a lower price than the pistol I got to accompany it. Do be careful with it, as it breaks easily, but if you're looking for a cheap visual prop, this is the perfect choice. Also arrived on time in perfect condition. Regarding the ratings, it was fun to have and use as part of my costume. Other than that it doesn't really do anything. Educationally... well, it can be a good template for what a lot of gun parts look like. Again, real fragile, but for my purposes it's perfect.

This toy gun is a lot of fun. One arrived with the trigger broken. It makes noises and lights up. Little boys will love them but they're loud so parents may not. Lol

I bought this gun just because it looked cool and it was cheap. They make another vershen and it is twenty bucks. Anyway it is very fun but it is not the most durible thing on the planet. The sound stoped working in two weeks. But T did not care because the barrle still span. Over all T would highiy recomend this item

The plastic on this toy is so flimsy the barrel handle broke during opening the box, and trust me I was being quite gentle. The kid still liked it so he used for about a day and a half and then the stock broke. Then a couple of days later the barrel broke off from the action. It is made out of thin brittle plastic, so don't waste you money.

6-year old wanted to be a SWAT Team member for Halloween. Costume lacked a gun (but included one in the picture of the costume). Stores didn't have any, so I ordered this one. No instructions about batteries, but it takes them and you need a tiny philips screw driver (like one used for glass hinges) to get into the battery case. The gun glows with some interesting blues and reds (and green? I can't recall). I thought it looked neat but my boy decided it wasn't realistic enough ("Real guns don't do that!") And for some reason, after about 10 minutes, the gun stopped making gun noises reliably. So he had me take the batteries out. It's a fairly cheap toy gun though, and perfect as a costume prop. Since the kid is happy without noise or lights anyway, it is working well for us. I was lucky though. Maybe your kid is going to be upset if it acts up or isn't realistic enough. So be warned.

Good seller, shipping was fast and item is just like it says on the listing. Yes, it's a plastic gun, not sure what others were expecting, not as fragile as other reviewers have said, but still a plastic gun, my nephew loves it!

I bought this toy rifle for my grandson's 10th birthday, and after 1 month he stills play with it every day. It is very well-made, and appears that it will last. I was worried about this at first, because it's constructed of plastic and made in China. I'm glad I bought it though, and would recommend it to others. My grandson loves it!

I'm shooting a zombie project and this prop assault rifle looks just as good as it does in the picture listed here!!!
