I'm giving these Berkley PowerBait Trout/Steelhead Egg Clusters a strong 5 stars, even though I didn't catch anything on my recent outing. Why the high rating? Because the lack of action was clearly due to poor conditions that day, not the bait itself. Performance & Design Excellent Hooking: These clusters stay on the hook remarkably well! I was impressed with how securely they held up to casting and currents. Highly Visible: The Fluorescent Orange color is incredibly bright and eye-catching in the water, which is exactly what you want when fishing for trout and steelhead. Irresistible Scent: Knowing it's loaded with the Irresistible Scent that PowerBait is famous for gives you confidence that the fish will notice it, even if they aren't biting that day. While I can't speak to their effectiveness for catching fish yet, I can confirm they are a high-quality, bright, and durable bait that gives you the best chance when conditions are right. I look forward to trying them again on a better weather day!

We caught lots of trout at Blue Mesa Reservoir this spring during cloudy days. When we checked our lines we would add a yellow power bait.

Nice size and consistency, has an indent for hook placement, Several successful takes.

The quality and durability of verily soft plastics can’t be beat the price. You put these on a single hook with a weight the cluster will float if you want you can run a second hook on the line and use the clusters to bring it just off the floor or a lake or river.

Been using Berkley products for years. This one didn't really hit the mark with me. Look very cheap versus other products. It's partly my fault because I should have looked better. I won't buy these in the future and used something else on my fishing trip.
