With a phone cover on the phone it is a tight fit; I had to force the phone into the slot. That said, it works very nicely directing the sound and effectively ‘increasing’ the volume.

This works for better sound. Only thing is phones in cases will not fit. Otherwise this is a five star.

Worthless. Passive amplifiers are a thing, but this isn't one of them. It BARELY raises the volume. Enough to keep them from being sued, not enough to be on any use. And if you have a case protector, forget about it, this thing only accept phones without any kind of case protector.

Amazing. Great sound from a little hunk of wood

Does not fit either my iphone or my wife's. Gave it two stars because it looks nice, but don't buy unless you have a very thin phone. Update, after seeing my 2 star review UnnFiko refunded my purchase. So I upgraded the review, not may sellers would do this. I do like the thing, it just doesn't fit. If you like it be sure it will fit before ordering.

Only works without the phone case

i bought this to use teaching yoga classes in places without wi-fi, after throwing away more than one portable speaker due to rubbish battery issues. obviously, using a mobile phone and a little wooden amplifier is only suited to small spaces, but some of my classes are small. it actually works quite well, i am pleased to say. the projection is adequate for a smaller room when you don't want super loud music anyway, and it's not a high-end audio situation. i can see these being useful as a desk top dock for phone music, on a kitchen counter, in a bathroom, on an end table for casual listening. it's zero plastic and zero electronic waste; if anything ever happened to it, it could go in the compost. I FREAKING LOVE IT.

Slot isn’t wide enough to accommodate an IPhone with an otter box. Probably sounds good if it could insert deep enough.

It did make a difference great for listening to the radio at work easy to carry around too

A neat little stand which takes up little space on a desk and is quite effective
