Book 1 vs. Book 2
Book 1 in this series is more like the Super Challenge books. I loved Book 1. It is a great mix of the easy and not-so-easy.So,when Book 2 arrived I was disappointed! It seems to be the easy and the very easy. There is nothing wrong withthat if Book 1 had been done in a similar manner. It just really took me by surprise!I agree with other reviewers who say Book 2 is great for travel. The puzzles are more easily solved and less intense thanthose in Book 1. I don't know why the two books differ so much in format. That being said, kudos to Mr. Kalvitis for the bestlayout of any other dot-to-dot book I've seen. If you are brand new to the series, I recommend that you do Book 2 first andthen go for Book 1.Please note: It has been graciously been pointed out to me that I was wrote this review based on "Adventure" Book 1.The best thing I can suggest is to absolutely disregard the above review!!!!

my favorite dot to dot author
I love this book, easy to read and has "dot to dot" like you have never seen. I have every one by this author, because it never gets old. He uses, symbols, and some books have 3 and 4 page puzzles, over 2,000 dots. If you like a challenge, these books are for you!!!

Great fun for young and old :)
I am a teacher of hard to reach Jr. High math students and a mother of a gifted 4th grader. These puzzles are a great way to get students to think about numbers, patterns and spacial reasoning while they get to have fun at the same time. They are very relaxing after a stressful day as well. When I need a 5 minute breather from a stressful day or class period I find they come to hand easily so I can phase the world out and then feel refreshed and ready to focus on what else I have to do. I love to watch students color the dot to dot puzzles after they solve them and see all of their creativity. A good buy for anyone.I want them ALL!

Little Mister loves this.
busy, busy, busy little hands. My youngest son has hit this energetic phase where he must be DOING (and narrating) contantly. Busy, busy, busy little child. He is not old enough yet to have the unsupervised run of the neighborhood, but I need a break from teaching him life activities: woodworking, baking, cleaning, yard chores. Little Mister can sit near me dot-to-dotting while I get something done. This book keeps him fascinated and the pictures are really cool. We bought the first three books in this series.Little Mister is eight.

Perfect for my 8yr Old
I was looking for a challenging dot-to-dot book and this one is perfect. Not only is it challenging, the pictures are really great and the print is readable. I had purchased several before and returned the books because I simply could not read them - even with a magnifying glass. Great book!!!

Excellent, will definitely be buying more
Superb dot to dot book. My daughter has learning difficulties and anything that helps her with learning her numbers gets the thumbs up from me. Some puzzles are quite tricky with numbers going over 100 so they really make her think about what number comes next in the sequence. I was delighted to discover these books on Amazon because I have been unable to find any locally

My 7 year old loves doing dot to dots and ...
My 7 year old loves doing dot to dots and a week after receiving this he's only got 9 more pages left to complete the book! Now he's asking if its possible to get some more! Keeps him occupied, practising pencil and number skills, guessing the object and away from technology, so a thumbs up all round.

Not so great
Greatest dot-to-dot Book in the World Book 2....not so great. Was expecting a bit more from this. Not that many pages. A couple of them are half instructions. I say keep instructions to one page at the beginning. Why spread throughout the book? Please put more puzzles(dot-to-dots) in this book to make it worthwhile.

Good for older kids
I bought this for my 11yr old daughter, and she has really enjoyed doing these dot-to-dot pictures. They're challenging enough for older kids, and have kept her busy for a good while. I'd certainly purchase more in the series.

the sheer variety is amazing ( join odd numbers, even numbers, shapes etc) , really made our grandson (6) think where to go next.
