All day everyday
This book was an easy read. It stated it was more advanced than beginner-level. I thought it was fine for any level. There were some things I’m already doing, as well as offering some new ideas to try. There’s a definite Wiccan foundation in this book. I’m not Wiccan, but it’s inclusive for different Pagan paths. Would recommend.

A good book for those wanting to live as a witch everyday and in every way
Reading this book is like sitting down in a cozy kitchen, or at a table in your local Pagan shop with a cup of tea in hand and talking to both a friendly and knowledgeable contemporary discussing the questions and concerns not addressed in typical Wicca 101 books. The style of writing flows easy like a conversation and is easy to read and understand with quite a lot of humor thrown in there even though some of it seems a bit forced. This book covers a wide range of topics from affirmations, ethics, the power of words, to how to deal with non-Pagan spouses, how to raise children, coven dynamics, rites of passage and many others. I found her chapters on rites of passage and coven dynamics quite informative and interesting. It really tries to help logically and judgmentally help you answer how to be a Witch everyday and in every way possible. It does not go into grave details into any of these topics but gives you a good advice and starting point to begin thinking about these topics. Almost every chapter ends with asking you to pause and really think about what this or that topic means to you and would make a great journaling opportunity. In fact, this book would be a great book to read and work through with a book club or a circle. You could have people journal the questions asked at the end of the chapters and could share you answers creating a wonderfully open dialog, where advice could be shared and a different perception gained. The enthusiastic, approachable writing style of the author gives you the sense that she has thought long and hard about the subjects and has personally experienced these situations. You get a sense of almost a two way conversation, a question and answer period, an open discussion. The advice given and questions asked are good, and she always makes sure to reaffirm that she is not all knowing and that the reader should think for themselves, but I would have liked for the author to go into more depth on these subjects and would have liked to hear more personal opinions and specific instances. The book however does include gives many other resources in which the readers may turn to for more in depth information.I would recommend this book to anyone who has read and worked through a few 101 books and is asking the bigger questions and really wondering how logistically and spiritually live as Pagan, a Wiccan, and/or a Witch

Despite the Introduction - Buy ONLY if you are a newbie
To be fair, perhaps my major disappointment with this book comes from 15 years of knowingly being on, educating and practicing the pagan path. It's been a long time since I've read a "how-to" witch book, unlike my beginning years when I devoured them (and there were far less to chose from then). Great starter books like Silver Ravenwolf's "Teen Witch" (which I was 32 years old when I read - great for newbies of all ages) and "To Ride a Silver Broomstick", Marion Green's "A Witch Alone", etc. gave a comprehensive and elementary introduction into witchcraft, Wicca particularly, with step-by-step guides and worksheets to customize your Craft. But I was looking for some needed inspiration after many years of closed books, something less formalized and repetitive. If you have read at least one or two books on witchcraft, then you've gotten everything this book has to offer. My irritation was not solely born out of it being so obviously apparent this books is just a regurgitation of many widely known sources including "The Secret" - nothing new is being shared here - but moreso by the writing style. It insulted my intelligence and left me feeling embarrassed for continuing to read on - so I abandoned it. At the onset the author implies the book is not for beginners, then proceeds to speak to us like children with juvenile writing and joking. If you are relatively educated, academically and magickally, if you're no longer a novice and are searching for ways to incorporate and develop a natural daily rhythm infused with your pagan spirituality and you are settled enough in your faith to feel comfortable in every day clothes doing every day things and believe magickal sources abound all around, then this is NOT the book for you. What reading this book helped me realize is that I do know and am on the path towards greater spiritual practice and maturation but it's not a spoon-fed, cookie-cutter version. Instead of books with "Witch", "Wicca", "Grimoire", "Goddess" and other keywords in the title, they're more like "The Old Farmer's Almanac", books about foraging & wildcrafting, gardening, natural home, health and beauty remedies and recipes, poetry and other sources that bring you closer to the earth, Being Pagan literally means "dweller of the earth, villager". By learning and living with natural rhythms and the old ways of our ancestors, the integrating of our mundane and spiritual life becomes far more enriching, harmonious and authentic. By learning and incorporating this ancient and country wisdom, you realize the true power of nature and begin to harness it as an advanced educational system. At some point, we progress beyond the pop-culture version and desire an individual expression of our faith. Begin by diversifying your library! When your library contains books that any person of any faith tradition can enjoy and learn from without openly knowing they have ventured into the magickal realm, then you're on to something. I have just proven to myself there's a need for an integrative, ethical, and natural progression in our pagan path. I guess I've just found my next project! Love it
A book I really like it, I found it very useful. After reading "Living wicca" from scott cunningham I still wanted to read something more on the subject and this book does that. Reading is quite light and clear, and enjoy the way the book is divided, starting from the work on yourself, the thinking and so on.As a neutral point I would add that there are many things in the book that can be drawn by "common sense" or that many other books already mentioned and adds nothing new, as is the housekeeping, food and health . However as the "common sense" is not always "common" it is good to have been included, besides that I think is a good example that Wicca is not just "make magic" but to live the best way possible and that includes a healthy life.Points against: the author gets several small jokes like "and no, you can not do a spell to turn her Into a toad, Sorry About That." jokes that although the first time can become funny (maybe not all), but then she abuses of them and makes the value of what they are talking about first, falling out of rhythm.

Loved this!
I loved this book. I like the way she writes as it’s very informal, inclusive & friendly. A fascinating read. It also makes clear that the modern 21st century Witch is nothing like those portrayed in storybooks of old. She is portrayed as a nature loving, spiritual soul who wishes to spread positive energy & kindness everywhere she can with an interest in healing, herbs & the natural world. I think if we all followed the examples given in this book & took time to reflect, both our lives and the World would be a more peaceful & loving place. Some lovely ideas to follow as well.

I really like this author. It's like being on the listening end of a nice chat with a good friend. It's easy to read and the suggested exercises/spells/self exploration/etc are interesting.
