I received my light set today... the front light (headlight) seems fine, it works, works in all 4 modes, charged up fine, seems fairly bright enough for a ride, though not sure how long it will last on a ride... probably more than good enough for a 1-2 hr ride on the highest setting... I will have inform on that when I know more....However, as for the rear light, that is a total dud... completely dead... as in it never worked.... even after first plugging it to recharge it as I thought maybe it was discharged, it went straight to solid green in 0 seconds flat on a 2.1A cell phone charger (instructions say not to charge over 5V)... hence it was fully charged upon arrival.... "solid green" means the battery is fully charged... but it simply won't light... completely dead on a full battery indication... but for the $10.99 price point, and a working headlamp, I really can't expect much more and not worth sending back as I live overseas... I'd still recommend, but realistically, it's a crap shoot... Both may work, one may work...It's shame that on a 4.2 star rated product, and as per other reviews, that there seems to be a lack of good QC on the rear light... they need to work on that...I'll be looking for another rear lamp...UPDATE: MAY 2021 - front light onlyI ride about 2-3 times a week, mostly in the day, some group rides at night... my day rides can last 2-3-4 hours, and night rides usually are over 1 hour but under 2 hours. In day rides, I use the front headlight in flashing mode to attract attention and preserve battery life simultaneously and in night rides, I use the light mostly in lower setting while in the group and switch to bright mode once I leave the group and head on home.In both scenarios, the light has lasted long enough, so I can safely say that in the flashing mode, I easily get at least 4 hours of flashing mode use and at least 2 hours of steady mode use between full and lower brightness modes and it is still not depleted.Also, I usually don't charge the light right away, but usually do it the night before, or the afternoon before a ride.And due to various Covid lock-down modes (from about late MAR 2020 thru early FEB 2021), I didn't really use the light for bike riding for almost a year, but used it as a handy flashlight a few times when there were power outages. it's still running good.There haven't been any issues with the front light in trail rides at night either - doesn't really move around, doesn't slip, etc... of course, I don't ride like Evel Knievel or those Red Bull Rampage riders on a mtb either, but do take a few small jumps. My Cateye Enduro 8 computer moves more around than this light does... I need to fix that! LOL.Also, no one ever reached out to me regarding the rear light.Hope that helps! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Great lights, but really short lighting time span *by A***S on Reviewed in the United States on February 9, 2019* The documentation indicates that the front light lasts 2.5 hours and the back light 1. 5 hours in their respective more powerful mode (only mode of any use at night). My experience is that they last much less than that. On the positive side, they also recharge a lot quicker. The front light does not take 2.5 hours to recharge. Instead, it takes less than 1 single hour. Personally, I would find this product a lot more attractive if it had regular batteries that could last for several months if not years of commute riding in the dark. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great value. The front light is secure but comes off easily if you need a flashlight. Turns as well to light where you need it. The rear is impressive and can be set to red or white flash and a combination. Very bright and also rechargeable. Doesn’t hurt that these look good on my bike either.
